I was able to put it on gen 3 doors, followed the instructions, and it fit perfectly out of the box, the glass felt like regular automotive glass, and the material seemed sturdy. Despite the negative reviews, I hoped they would fix the flaws sadly, that was not the case. A nice day is marred by a bum day.
They cost a lot more than they should because they are so bad! As they are vertical, you have to work very hard to make them align properly, and once you do, they don't show much of the surroundings. A fun house mirror reminds me of the mirror on the wall. There are no straight lines they are all As I held up one of the glasses to adjust it, my finger caught on the glass which caused it to crack. DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS as it teeters totters in the frame and will break. Be sure to only touch the frames themselves. That is garbage and I am pissed off that I spent $123 on it. I'm really angry!.
It was easy to align the holes and bolt the pieces together. I found the screws to be a bit short, but it This is very easy to do. Make sure you are It would have been better to use Allen cap screws instead of Phillips heads, and I'm replacing them with those. Detent on the arm is excellent. The problem is. You don't want to grab it too hard when turning the mirror as I did or we might hear a cracking I feel like if you squeeze the head when turning, the glass will break. If they had a better head, their home run would be even better. It is a shame about the price, however. There is no way you can get everything you want.
Although they were easy to install, these mirrors vibrate quite a bit when driving, considering how much I paid for them. Overall, these mirrors are worthless for the money I spent. The amount of shaking makes it impossible to focus on what is behind you. tightened every bolt available to stop the vibration, but nothing made a difference. The last time I spoke with Body Armor by phone or email, not a single response was received. I can confidently say that this will be my final purchase of body armor.
There are no cons to the mirrors, I was able to screw them both on in just a few minutes. *This type of side mirror meets the requirements in a lot of The cons are
They shake
They don't stay in place
Both of my sticks arrived warped, one is convex whereas the other is concave so you can't really use them to accurately gauge There is no reason to justify their hefty price tag based on their build quality.
It was a screw that stripped their threads. There are some poor quality screws in the package. A red thread lock was necessary in order for the screws to work.
