I had been putting off buying these, but when I removed the retention strap, the side mirrors swung into the Jeep, causing a dent on both sides. Obviously, many people have had similar experiences, as it is a major motivator for purchasing these covers. br>br>These are not at all what I expected. I expected them to be low-cost, soft rubber adhesive stick-on items. They appear to be add-ons, but they aren't. These are made of hard plastic that has been molded to the exact shape. They have a thick, beefy texture to them. Each one is shaped to fit the specific side to which it is attached, and installation is fairly straightforward. The 3M adhesive adheres to the plastic's entire outer edge and appears to be very strong. I believe it is just enough to keep things in place while not being too difficult to remove in the future. br>br>To summarize, I would purchase them again. They look fantastic, even better than I had hoped, and they're simple to put together. Even if you don't have any dents to cover, this is a good buy. Nothing was missing or damaged when the item arrived. I like how they look, and they're made of hard plastic with 3M adhesive on the back. br>All you have to do now is line them up because they have a top and bottom due to their shape. You'll be able to tell when they're ready, so simply line them up on each side, remove the backing, and you're done. When you're aligned with it, be cautious because it can stick to you. So far, I've really enjoyed them, and they've helped to improve my baby (jeep). The seller and the price are both good. I've included photos of the before and after. As a result, you can get a sense of how they'll appear on the jeep. You really can't go wrong, in my opinion.

I got these after the previous owner of my Jeep smashed the cowl with the mirror, most likely while removing the door. I looked at a lot of different cowl covers, but these were my favorites because the diamond pattern was more realistic than some of the other options, and it had a textured finish rather than the cheap look of the other diamond pattern cowl covers. I'm so glad I decided to go with them. I've had them on for nearly two years, and they haven't budged or faded in the Northeast Ohio winters. I'm pleased with them in general. 5 out of 5 stars, and I'd buy it again.

Sunluway® 2015 Latest Durable Black Cowl Body Armor - I was ecstatic to receive it. Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sahara Jk Replacement Parts 2007-unlimited Sunluway's 2015 (Latest Upgrade Version) for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler JK. The tape wasn't thick enough to stick to the jeep body, and it was in recessed areas, so it didn't stick to anything. They look fantastic; all you have to do now is get some thicker tape and remove the thin tape. We purchased our own 3M tape and placed extra in the middle of the cowl body part, ensuring that it is secure and will not fall off while driving down the highway or off-trail. This item enhanced the Jeep's appearance, and the diamond tread design blends in seamlessly with the rest of the Jeep Wrangler JK's features. Overall, this item wowed me. In exchange for my honest review, I was given a discount on this product. This, however, has had no effect on my viewpoint. One is for the right side of your Jeep, while the other is for the left side. Make sure you get that part right, because they'll be difficult to take off once they're in place. You don't want them to be crooked on there, so be careful when you put them down. It's very simple to do things correctly, but it's also very simple to make mistakes if you're not careful. I didn't have any problems, but I did notice a Jeep in the parking lot - They were on the wrong side of the bed. It appeared to be a disaster. I'd make another purchase.

I used it to cover the cowl's annoying door dents. I wrapped them because I have a white jeep and didn't want the black to show through. I really like how it turned out. And the best part is that I won't have to explain how I got those dents all the way up there to non-jeep drivers.
