The correct hardware is available at most auto parts stores, but longer bolts are recommended for ease of installation. Standard bolts and large bumper washers with nylon nuts installed "upside-down" - If you don't care about using stock parts, get standard bolts and large bumper washers with nylon nuts installed "upside-down" - This simplifies the installation process even more.

Don't expect to be able to get this and easily replace it in the bumper. The part is slightly shorter on each side at the ends, so you'll need to warp it with a heat gun to ensure it extends far enough. The cross support piece will also need to be sliced so that the end section can pull outward enough after heating. If you don't do this, the end screws on the inside of the bumper won't line up and won't extend far enough. You'll also need to shave some plastic away from the screw's location with a utility knife in order for the OEM screw to fit through the hole flush. To get those screws through enough to bite into the threading, I had to smash it with a small C clamp as close and tight as I could. It looks great once you've finished, but it's a pain to do. Ram 1500 ST base model from 2003.
It takes some time to set up. My 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 is compatible with this part. It was difficult to remove the old 5 bolts. The bumper should be removed, according to some reviewers. To access the two difficult-to-reach bolts, simply remove the plastic covers from the fog lights. Replace the original five bolts and clips with slightly longer bolts, washers, and nuts from the hardware store. To keep the new trim/deflector piece in place, use zip ties or something similar. Start working on the snap-in tabs; they won't be easy to install. The first two center tabs snapped into place using a small crank-down wood clamp. Then start working on the ones at the end and in the middle, and eventually you'll be able to get them to snap in all the way to tighten the bolts. It's not easy to put together, but it's doable, and it looks a lot better than the old, worn-out one I had before. I hope that this information is useful to others.
It's a little difficult to put together (due to the bumper design, not the air deflector), but it looks great and fits perfectly.
It's an exact match for my 2004 2500. The bolts were not included, only the retained nuts. That was fine, but to get to two of the bolts on the old one and install the new one, you had to almost take the bumper off. To get it to fit, I had to trim a few of the alignment pins. You wouldn't know it wasn't original equipment after it was installed. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome.
With the body frame in place, it was difficult to install. I had to cut away old clips, and the Air Dame didn't come with any hardware, so I had to get new clips and the bolts had to be longer.
The item arrived in perfect condition. Installed it with the help of a body man. He had to take the bumper off to install it, so I'm glad I did. On the truck, it looks fantastic.
The Air Deflector was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Quality is comparable to that of OE - It bolted up without a hitch.
