Questions & Answers

An image of 24 x 8 must be covered with 16 square inches of material. ?

Each gallon of TK64 covers 48 square feet. Please note that this is a 24 x 8 frame. The area of 5 square feet divided by 48 equals 4 square feet. It is recommended that at least 2 coats are applied, with 25 gallons used in total.

What is the impact on the ground when horses paw at it?

Steel is the primary material of horse shoes. There is a plastic coating on the product. Plastic will always lose out to metal eventually, particularly if it is pounded on To protect the floor from contamination by water, urine, and waste, I would suggest coating it. The floor will last longer, you will protect the frame from rusting, and would be easier to clean by doing this. If you need protection from horseshoes, lay a rubber mat on the ground.

Does this work with horse trailers as well?

As it is textured, it would be difficult to keep clean, though I don't see a reason why it could not work. Also, horses may put a lot of wear and tear on a vehicle. It is enough to simply move motorcycles and such around to make me get chips.

If you haul anything that has gasoline in it, don't buy! In the beginning, I was really looking forward to this product, and I am pleased with how it looks and feels
3/5

However, it is not durable after the first time I used the trailer after application (following their instructions), the coating started to fade in many places. In the first place, it cannot cope with The propane tank that was strapped to the wall leaked on it, tearing it up and ripping up the coating. An accident involving one of the dirt bikes tipped it over due to a strap failure and about a half quart of gasoline spilled, well, well the coating was absolutely destroyed and caused it to disintegrate. As such, a trailer floor cannot be constructed out of an item that will be destroyed by gasoline. This is definitely not a product I would recommend.

I like it a lot! This product is what I used to paint the interior of my new 6x12 enclosed lawn trailer
5/5

My experience with this product has been very positive. One gallon will cover (heavy) the floor and pull down the door with ease. My 900 lb lifting weight is a good match for me. For the past two months, I have been turning on and off my zero-turn lawn mower 10x a day. There is still a fresh coat of paint on the floor. Wet mowers do not rot in my trailer because my wood doesn't absorb water like it would in most trailers. I am not the kind of person who writes A trailer enclosed with a roof costs a lot of money. The sealer in this post is good for protecting your floor Earlier today, 9/12/20, it will be ten months since it was last used heavily. In spite of the weather, my lawn trailer floor still looks fantastic. Driving a 900lb vehicle is a lot of work. 5 days a week, we run the Toro Grand Stand and the Walker 25i 10x a day. The fact that it is holding up so well has really impressed me. I still think it looks good.

My hopes were not met as far as durability went
3/5

It was advertised on trailer floors that paint was to be used. to make an enclosed trailer for an ATV. All directions were followed to the letter, and each coat was let dry even longer than was suggested. In spite of a few days of drying, paint still began to peel off the floor under the In addition to having a textured finish, it is also described as having a soft feel Floor paint is especially difficult to work with. No experience testing the waterproof claim, though some with already pulled off the floor, so I am not going to see if it actually works until I touch it With two gallons, the floor of an 8x24 foot trailer plus ramp was covered with two coats of paint without a drop to spare.

It is what it claims to be
5/5

The new particleboard floor of the cargo trailer has been installed One gallon of paint was enough to cover a 6x12 foot floor plus a ramp with two thick coats. It dried very quickly. It looks good and is rough on the surface.

I am impressed with the product
5/5

It is The cargo trailer is to be 14' long and enclosed. There had only been a few times a floor and ramp were used. This is almost like a new car. A total of two gallons was purchased. Once a gallon of spray painted the entire area, not super thick, but enough to cover it completely. Repeat step 2 for the second gallon. I used a small brush to clean up a few corner areas and exposed ramp and floor edges. We had a sunny day with a high temperature of 80°F. Drying took only a few minutes, and ramp exposure in the sun took an even shorter time. Unlike many paints, once the paint starts to set, it should not be rolled again as it will ruin the finish, creating clumps. There were some minor spots that seemed to be cured by the second coat. The dried product has a very non-slip surface. There is no way anybody would want to be scraped on their knees! I fill most if not all of the tiny holes, crevices, screw holes, etc. It is very easy to apply if you are smart about how you apply it, and provides high quality coverage for the price of A great deal of work, but well.

The enclosed trailer my landscaping company uses needed to have its floor protected, so this product is perfect
5/5

Although the product is very thick when you apply it, it is I live in Florida, so it dries in a few hours, especially because of the summer heat. It also takes to wood very well. Yes, it will be excellent for zero-turn lawn mowers as well.

The project worked well, and it looks fantastic
5/5

The floor of a 7x12 foot trailer can be painted with 2 coats with one can. It took about 3 hours for me to do it by myself, about 1 hour for my brother. For the first coat, it took five hours, and for the second it took a similar amount of time. Before painting, make sure you clean, mask, and use a leaf blower to get the dust out. I used a paint roller to apply it easily. The granular texture of 2 coats of non-skid will give you a solid surface. Excellent product that I would.

This is a highly recommended book
5/5

In order to ensure that my new trailer floors are protected for years to come, I put a floor protector down. It has now been used twice by me ATVs and camping gear are mainly hauled. happy with the way it does not seem to be susceptible to damage. There is no difficulty in applying this. This is an excellent piece of meat with a nice Slippery surface won't cause you to slip. The two coats required 2 gallons of paint. This piece of furniture measures 20' by 8'. With a ramp door, it is a 5' car hauler. - a headline we can all relate to I highly recommend this book.
