Questions & Answers

Does the product come from China? Do you prefer Korea or Japan? The made in china product line has been a disappointment for me. ?

I am from Lois, and we produce towels in both Korea and China at The Rag Company. This particular towel, Spectrum 420, is made in our Chinese factory as noted in the Technical Details (Origin) of the listing. In the past, we searched for almost a year for a factory that could meet our higher standard of quality and saw a lot of factories along the way that did not meet our standards. Nevertheless, our Chinese factory uses the same "best in class" German manufacturing equipment that we use in our Korean factories, and our Chinese factory has similar quality standards and processes in one factory. Our Chinese factory also enjoys an excellent reputation in Our team here in the United States always expects the best from the business partners we work with, and the Spectrum 420s are a testament to that. Including domestically (design, packaging, quality control, and distribution) as well as Thanks a lot! It's a pleasure to answer your questions. Thank you!

Does it smell? It is not recommended that I wash and wax my car with lint-free products. ?

The blue, grey and black set would be great for me, do you The items I want to purchase are listed below. ?

Thank you, Will! *br>You can purchase the Spectrum 420 Dark Pack on Amazon with the blue, grey, and black From Amazon Fulfillment, they are in stock and ready to ship today. My sincere gratitude goes out to you!

Does this towel have antimicrobial protection (like some of the other towels you have)? They are useful as hand towels, but can I use them as dish ?

That's not the case, according to my understanding. The towel would make a good hand towel, though.

An average quality towel with a medium amount of lint
3/5

It's obvious I should wash the towels before use, but I did not expect the towels to be covered in There is a multi-faceted nature to the lint (Some of it is the same color as the towel, but there is also orange, red, etc), so it's safe to assume that some is manufactured in a low-quality factory from other microfiber materials. Also, there are some areas where the microfiber material is worn away and looks like a "snag" around the edges. If I paid more for non-aluminum items, could it have been worth it You could have simply switched to a new brand if you had the Chinese towels. Yep, I've washed 3 of 9 towels on the gentle cycle on cold and the trim is coming off. "EXTREMELY DURABLE" is not as durable as advertised The product is advertised as having the ability to tolerate hundreds of washings.

You simply cannot beat these towels for the price
5/5

MF towels that are well made for the price.

I have heard good things about The Rag Company. This 9 pack seemed like a good deal, so I decided to try it out. It cost me just over 2 bucks to buy a towel, so I figured "why not?"? "A car enthusiast can never have too many great MF's, and I figured I'd be getting 9 towels for wheels, interior, etc. Well, I was pleasantly surprised at how well made these towels are. I wouldn't hesitate to use them My intentions are to clean the vehicle without using any soap and remove the wax/sealant. I EDITED - The towels were MF, infused with ONR, and washed in a rinseless cycle. I would give them a five-star rating when it comes to cleaning and product absorption. During the rinseless bucket, they shed quite a bit, but after washing with MF cleaner, everything seems to be fine. It's crazy how much these cost and how valuable they are. As many as a hundred of these MF towels are in my hands. These towels often sell for top dollar and are of top quality. They're not quite as nice as the ones at the bargain barrel box store, but they are not as cheap as those either. This set of 9 towels is one I would not hesitate to purchase again in the future. I have nothing but praise for.

My favorite towels are not the best
3/5

When it comes to detailing, stop and think before ordering Black. Despite owning a whole bunch of towels from the Rag Company, these are my least favorite.

I can blame some of it on not thinking this through, but some of it is my fault. Normally, a black towel is used. A car wash without this would be a waste of time and money. I have no idea how dirty it is or where it came from. The wheels are a bit like flying blind when detailing them, with no feedback on how loaded they are. Blue and grey are both fine, but the black is more of a floor mat than a The edges have a thick hard covering- In the pictures you cannot see the wrap seam, which I would not like to see in a car detailing job. There are also two sides to their character, as one of them is equal and the other isn't. On one side there is a good absorbent nap, whereas the opposite is smooth and more difficult It's not to my liking.

It is soft to the touch, but it has lint and strings
3/5

The chemical guys, auto geek, Costco, and other brands of microfiber towels have all been in my possession. I found a lot of lint and string attached to them when I received them. They still have little fuzzies and strings on them after washing (warm water, with low heat in the dryer). I'm reluctant to use them with all of the fuzzy bits and foreign substances on them. They are soft, but they are a bit fuzzy and foreign to me. I think this will be my last towel from rag company.

That was a lot better than I There was a lot of criticism about too much lint and subpar durability in many of the reviews
4/5

I was initially on the fence with these. Towels of this type usually have a little lint, but it is to be expected. The towels are produced with a low pile side and a medium pile side. If you have a towel that's not low pile there might be some lint in it. I've acquired many MF towels lately and I've been testing them. We recommend that items are cleaned with rags to riches microfiber detergent) once delivered and dried with air only (no heat). In order to check for lint after the towels are dried, I will run the towels back and forth over a lint roller. This covered the lint roller, which was $0. 99). Even though these do have a band surrounding them, the banding is smooth and does not feel like it would scratch anything, so if you hold your towel right, you should not even have to worry about it. Moreover, they are not as soft as I would like, and one of the problems they have is that they tend to bunch up. There's a little bit of rubber bunching if you don't put just enough pressure on the edges. These are just minor complaints as I'm just trying to provide all the small details in case anyone is still unsure. For the price and same day delivery, this is a great deal. They may not be the best towels, but for the price and same day delivery, it's a great deal. If you don't want to use your nice good towels, these are perfect if you need a multi-purpose towel. The reason I purchased these towels was because I saving to use my nice towels when I do paint correction or apply coatings and use these for claying, QD, or rinseless washing (which is exactly what these are perfect There should be a fair amount of clarity on these towels now that I have attended to this.

There is a lack of quality
3/5

Having used the towels for over a year, I strongly recommend them. The towel is soft, versatile, and has different properties on both sides however, the dark colors (blue, grey, and black) render it useless as a damp washer towel or anywhere you may want to see how much dirt is coming off your vehicle and going into/on your Last but not least, these are still not colored Safety is assured. Using the same colors for a year will wear the colors out. There is no way I can understand how this can be There is no way for me to tell if the folks at the Rag company can help. It may be worth reading the reviews, but please consider offering these towels in orange, white, or yellow. I prefer light colors so it is easy for me to see what is coming off of the vehicle and, at the same time, is colorfast.

It is a good towel for washing autos It is detailed
5/5

The towels I purchased from Amazon are used to buff waxes and sealants when I work on my automobile Work that involves a lot of detail. There is no marring of the paint because they do the job very well. I use this towel for a number of different things, and obviously any towel that is not well lubricated will scratch, but this towel is perfect There is no better towel I have used in detailing when I have worked on paint than Eagle Edgeless 500GSM towels. Regardless of what you recommend, I am not keen on using these or Eagle Edgeless for leveling ceramic coatings because they are both quite expensive and you can't reuse any towels after buffing or leveling them. It is imperative that they are disposed of.
