Is this also a good option for drying air when I am doing soda blasting? There seemed to be a painting craze sweeping the room. ?

I agree, however, as other reviewers have stated you would be better off purchasing a cheaper unit with a It's even better to install a cooler after your compressor, or to install one inline after the compressor, then add a dryer after that, and your dryer desiccant will last much If you plan to use an expensive unit like this one, you should at least install a cheap water separator before it, so that you can remove any liquid water that would otherwise quickly saturate the desiccant or slow down the filter element. If all you need for soda blasting is an after cooler, you might be able to make do with it. The requirement for dry air in painting is higher than that for When it comes to blasting, you should be able to blast most things as long as your lines don't contain liquid.

My requirements are for a filter regulator assembly that can filter down to one This is a very urgent need. I need six of them right away. What kind of supplies do you have?

Should I buy a separate oil filter in addition to an air filter and a dryer to paint my car?

The oiling process depends on whether you use a central oiler or if you spray oil into each tool You have two options if you use a central oiler. If you are using an oil filter after the oiler, you can tee off your paint gun air line In the event that you oil your tools individually, you will not need to use an air dryer or filter or an oiler. By the way, I've had this air filter/dryer for about 2 years, primarily in North Carolina where the humidity really tough on the tank and line. I went through approximately 3 other cheaper regulators and filters that failed due to poor quality or broke. As far as I can tell, I have no problems with this one. I paint, plasma cut and sandblast with it.

Can you tell me the maximum PSI for the inlet?

I hope you are having a good The maximum pressure on the 130525 QC3 is 150 psi according to the instructions. My sincere thanks go out to

It's expensive, poor engineering, and galvanic corrosion is a The system was purchased and installed in 2014, six years ago

The compressor operates with a 25 gallon tank, and coiled (condensation) tubing adds 100 feet between the tank and the The compressor is used infrequently since I live in Florida with a high humidity level. The tank and filter are emptied immediately after each Getting around to replacing the dessicant canister and determined that it would cost more than $50 to do so. My first step was to purchase a 1 gallon Jug of reusable, color-changing dessicant, and then disassemble There was a concrete-like substance covering the entire inside of the building. There is a white, chalky mess on the screen. The silica gel had broken down and fell to the bottom of the enclosure, which was initially my assumption. In fact, I found that when I removed the canister, all of the silica was intact. This suggests that moisture had caused the components to break down and reacted with the metal used for the enclosure, head unit, rod and wing nut. It had a pitted bottom, the threaded rod that held the filter had become rusted and seized to the head, and the wing nut was all but gone. I would expect a filter that costs $200 to take into account dissimilar materials Nipples and rod made of steel combined with an aluminum enclosure and a zinc Wingnut in high moisture and high pressure is a recipe for disaster. As a substitute, I replaced the steel rod with a 9" Delrin rod that I had threaded to 1/4" We replaced the wingnut with a brass one and adjusted the wingnut to fit properly. It is no longer metal on metal contact, as I cleaned it with Simple Green and wire brushes and sealed it with epoxy and self-etching primer, then ripped open the original filter canister to remove the metal clip and replaced the desicant After this, I replaced the indicator paper with circles punched from a 50' roll of moisture indicating paper that I bought on Amazon. It costs half as much to replace this old replacement canister with delrin, wing nuts, desicant and indicator paper, and you can use it for a lifetime.

The design is sturdy and easy to install, and the product works well
5/5

The unit is surprisingly good for the price! I've had it for just over a month now, I have it downstream of a DIY moisture trap I built based on online designs, I haven't noticed any moisture on the tools yet. I would recommend it to someone in the same position as me, someone at home who wants to do some painting and body work. I found it easy to install, seems like changing the filters will be easy, and it seems to be very well built. DeVilbiss also has paint guns that are worth checking out!.

This is a very solid device. For my home shop, I only use this dryer and filter. As a result, it seems to be a great match. There are two male 1/2 npt connectors in the inlet. This output has 1/4 npt male fittings if that helps you plan for the fittings and the.

At a reasonable price, this is a great air drying system
5/5

For my application, I have a small garage workshop, this is an ideal drying system. Oil, water, and humidity are captured and contained in three stages by the system. Besides the regulator, pressure gauge, and shutoff valve, it comes equipped with a nice pressure gauge. As long as your system is plumbed correctly, it should work well. The desiccant is easy to change and the unit lets you know when it is time to replace it. My air supply is clean, meaning I can spray paint and run my air tools without worrying about moisture damaging them. I can also use my air supply without worrying about contamination ruining my painting.

Using the cheapest filter you can
3/5

As far as I can tell, it looks pretty much the same as a Chinese knock off I saw on an Eastwood site. Over all it worked for about a week but did not last long if you had I have 50 feet of pipe leading from the compressor, and two water traps, after which I have a desiccant filter with fairly high humidity, so I get a lot of water in the.

The costs are high, but it is worth it! DA sanders, needle scalers, and a CNC Plasma table are also all part of my work flow

With the very first unit I had, I would always get water coming out the end of the line. Not with this one. The air is BIG and BAD (Good) about getting water out of the There are replacement cartridges for $50 each, which I think is a little Yes, you pay for what you get, but hey, you get as good as The filter has been rated as Highly Recommended.

To achieve a great paint job, you need the right filter
5/5

Although I am not a DYI person when it comes to body work, I am an experienced master mechanic who has over 20 years of experience with euro and imported Painting my car (my first paint job) gave me a lot of satisfaction. As it turned out, my first attempt was a miserable failure due to the poor filtration system I did not have. As a result, I bought this filter for my second attempt, and I also changed my compressor to one that holds 60 gallons of air, and I can feel the air coming out of the hose is dry Thus, I recommend this for everyone. It comes with a good regulator, shut off valve, drain valve and it comes with a durable sturdy body. Considering the quality of the product and the speed with which it arrived, I don't regret this purchase at all.

My experiences with this filter/dryer have been very positive. I haven't experienced any problems with paint droplets forming due to moisture droplets. It has worked great for me on a variety of touch up projects, large and small. The interface is straightforward and easy.
