All of the assembly yes. After 10 minutes, the pop off safety valve failed to close. However, the rest of the system seems to be working properly. It is a cheaply made product that does the job.

Ever since then, it's been working well

It blew out on the highway 35 miles after the installation of the purge valve. A replacement valve was installed along with a new lock ring since the lock ring was defective. Since then, it has been working well.
