For some reason, this item did not include a sprayer. Others in my network have purchased it and have expressed similar sentiments. The only one that comes with a sprayer, according to them, is the larger size bottle from optimum. For the price and quality of the product, I believe it should at the very least include one; hopefully, this will happen soon.
Yes, it is possible. A chemical decontamination should be considered between the ages of 6 and 12. 12 months after the coating was applied. If properly installed, it will have no effect on a real coating. IGL, Gtechniq, CarPro, Kamikaze, and others are just a few examples.
Yes, it stinks a lot.
It can be used on wet or dry wheels, but dry wheels may be preferable because the break dust is easier to reach.

I bought this product to get rid of the "rail dust" on my white truck. It removed 95% of the orange spots but it damaged my clear coat as well. Because of the white color, the lack of shine is readily apparent. I'm going to try waxing it to see if I can restore the shine, but it looks like it ate right through it. br>br>I left it on for about an hour and a half. 2 minutes according to the instructions, not in direct sunlight. It was extremely hot outside, but the sky was overcast, so I'm not sure if the heat had an impact. It may be preferable to spray it on, remove it with a washing brush as soon as possible, and wash it. br>br>Unfortunately, I had orange spots over the majority of my truck when I used this product, and it's much worse now than it was before.
My truck was lent to a family member, who drove it until the brakes were worn down to the calipers. He was slicing steel from the rotor every time he applied the brakes. Rims, tires, running boards, and paint were all covered in steel shavings. I didn't think it was possible to pull it all together. The truck will be as good as new after just one bottle of this stuff.
I'll start by saying that if this smells less like rotten eggs than other iron/fallout removers, I'm afraid to try the others. After washing and rinsing my car, I sprayed it with Ferrex. Because of my car's dark grey color, I wasn't sure if it was working at first. After a minute or two, I noticed that the ground around my car had turned purple, indicating that the Ferrex had begun to activate and work on my vehicle. The attached photo was taken before I even rinsed the Ferrex off; it's just a rough sketch. Rolling down the paint is a good way to start. My only complaint was that I used almost the entire bottle on my mid-size sedan. If my car had been a different color, I would have been able to see where the product was applied instead of oversaturating. Aside from that, the product is excellent.
On my 2013 BMW e92, which is a smaller car, I used the entire bottle. It worked great in removing iron and calcium from the car, and I even used it to clean the license plates. Do not breathe it in or use it around pets or children because it has a strong odor and can burn if you get a whiff of it. Otherwise, this is an excellent pre-decontamination and clay barring preparation.
It doesn't smell bad; it's not the kind of scent you'd use on a date, but there are worse things out there. There's just enough in the bottle to make a sub-par drink. Like a VW Golf, it's small and nimble. The car turned purple in no time after being sprayed evenly, and it removed 95% of the rail dust, then I used clay to complete the job. Overall, it's a lot less expensive than having a body shop 2000 grit the entire car and respray it, which is the other option (aside from not buying a white car in the first place).
It's easier to remove iron particles from your paint and wheels than it is to use a clay bar. On my daily drivers, I use it at least once a year. Snow plows, industrial fallout, railroads, and your brakes are all sources of iron dust. Ferrex is a great product that doesn't have the same odor as Iron-on.
Had my brake pads wear down to nothing and chew through my rotors entire truck covered in iron deposits felt like sandpaper sprayed this on let sit 15 minutes then sprayed it off and it all washed right off with a microfiber wash mitt absolutely crazy I recommend this to all my friends with white vehicles my one friends service truck gets iron deposits all over the bed company truck he hates spending 4 hours with a clay bar getting it off not a replacement for clay bar o.
Like Adam's Iron Remover, it works well and does not leave permanent streak stains in plastics. I really like how this product has libricity built in, which allows you to lightly agitate it for more even coverage and working ability.
