Although it does not specifically mention "gravel dust," it does state that "C5 Wheel Armour provides the best protection for wheels, repelling brake dust and contaminants while making them easier to maintain." " I'd say the same thing, because brake dust is even worse.

They make the coated surfaces incredibly slick once properly applied! I used this on the wheels of my M3 a few days before a 400-mile road trip and noticed that they were surprisingly clean when I arrived (especially the fronts). Even though there was a thin layer of brake dust on the surface, it was very easy to brush off with a soft brush. Having said that, only time will tell if the coating lasts the promised one year. Durability of 2 years. br>br>In terms of the 15mL volume, I used two coats on the face and outer quarter barrel of my 19" wheels (437Ms) and still have about three coats left. There are 5mL of product left over. If multiple coats of application, including the inner barrels, are required, 30mL is probably more appropriate.

It's all a bunch of smoke and mirrors. Cleaning my wheels was a waste of time for me. This included decontamination, claying, and other procedures, all of which were carried out in accordance with the vendor's instructions. Allowing one week of cure rather than the recommended 12 hours was a complete waste of time, and I went to my favorite breakfast spot yesterday. I checked the wheels, which were all covered in brake dust, and sprayed them with water, and I was like, "WTF!" Do not waste your money on this nonsense.
My X5 M used up the entire bottle. I took the wheels off and painted the rims, wheel face, and painted calipers with it. The product was easy to apply and had an immediate shine. br>br>It isn't cheap, especially considering the small amount you get in the bottle, but it will be worth it if it works. They spend a lot of money on packaging that isn't really necessary because you will discard it.
This product was used on chrome wheels that had not yet been fitted with tires. As a result, the rims were spotless. I strongly advise following the instructions and preparing half of the wheel at a time, as the coating must be removed in under a minute. I gave the wheel a quick wipe down with a microfiber cloth before going over it again to remove any remaining coating. It's simple to use and wipes off easily. It's difficult to tell the difference with the chrome wheels. I'm hoping the safety net is in place. There is one gripe. With this Gteching's price tag - C5 Adding more than four small applicator pads would not put the company out of business.
This product looks identical to C4, which is a fantastic product. I bought it by accident and I'm really bummed because I can't return it because it's a flammable liquid, so make sure you're buying the correct product. I can't return it because it's a flammable liquid, so I'm out $60 and I'm really bummed. I'll most likely try it out in the future, and if it's anything like the other products, it'll be fantastic, but I'm still disappointed that it's not the C4. (A trim restorer, to be precise. ).
I ordered this product and received a still-sealed outer box with a container that had leaked into the plastic bag, leaving clear crystals in the bag and around the cap threads. I figured it wouldn't be a problem because there was still a good amount left in it until I got to the last rim I was coating and realized there wasn't any more. I should have returned it, but that's my fault; just make sure your container isn't tampered with. Aside from that, it's worked wonders for my other three rims, making them much easier to clean than the fourth.
Following everyone's advice in a Facebook detailing group, I used this to coat a set of my 18x8 wheels. This is the real deal. It's simple to put into practice; the majority of the work is in the preparation. With just water and a little pH neutral soap, brake dust can now be removed with ease. I don't think I'll ever need a wheel iron remover again.
