Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this on wiper blades? After using Griot's glass sealant, my wipers skip and chatter horribly. ?

Applying this to your wiper blades is not a good idea. Glass sealant is something I've never used before. I'm just curious as to how old the windshield/car, as well as the wiper blades, are. Replace your blades if you want to try something new. Anything you put on wiper blades is likely to smudge and wear off quickly.

Should I use a microfiber cloth to apply this?

I spray on a cheap pad or rag, wipe it on the surface, and then wipe it off with a terry cloth for an even finish.

Will this protect the dash from scuffs and minor scratches?

It would most likely depend on the nature and severity of the scuff, but I wouldn't count on it. Having said that, I'm a big fan of this kind of thing. It's ideal for rejuvenating and protecting all of my car's vinyl and rubber surfaces, and it doesn't leave any residue behind.

Will my weathertech floor mats become slick as a result of this?

Yes, the surface is extremely slick. In a week or so, things will return to normal. I don't use it on my weathertech floor mats any longer.

This is a fantastic product, and I adore it
5/5

I just finished detailing my "new" 2016 Ford Focus hatchback for the first time. I got a great deal on it after it had been sitting on the dealer lot for a little over a year. Well, the dash wasn't bad when I bought the car, but wow, when I finished applying Griot's Vinyl and Rubber Dressing, it looked so much better, that I ended up going over all of the vinyl and rubber trim areas on the interior, and the results made me a believer in the product. br>br>First, a little really does go a long way, and I applied it by spraying it onto a soft cloth, then rubbing it into the surface, rather than It took me about ten minutes. br>br> It took only 15 minutes to complete the entire vehicle, and the difference was night and day. It's great that it doesn't leave any kind of shine or residue behind; it just appears to restore the original clean look. This large bottle will also last a long time. It's really good!.

It's far superior to anything else I've tried on my car! Because my daughter purchased a 2017 Honda Civic and I own a 2010 Honda CR-V, I decided to purchase this
5/5

My CR- After a few long winters in the Pacific Northwest, V was looking a little worn out. I had been using Back to Black, but I didn't think it was doing much, and it never seemed to keep the car looking good after a week or so. This is on one of my cars; the Civic is still new, but it looks good. My CR- V has a larger bumper and side protection area, but it already looks a lot better than it did in Back to Black. I'll let you know how long it stays that way, but for now, it looks just as good as it did the day I put it on the bumpers. So far, everything has gone well! Edit: I'll never use another product because this one works and lasts in the rain for weeks.

Sprayers are not permitted! I just wanted to let you know that when I ordered this and the leather care from Edo Performance, neither bottle came with a sprayer, so I had to use mine
3/5

Everyone else who sent me Griot's product included a sprayer in the package, just so you know and are prepared. The product is fantastic, but the seller may not be so much, as all of the photos show a bottle with a sprayer.

Gold in liquid form
5/5

I used to own a detailing company, and out of over a dozen brands, this is the best vinyl and rubber protectant/dressing I've ever used. The end of the line. br>br>It lasts a long time, doesn't streak, and is incredibly simple to use because a little goes a long way. My favorite feature is that it isn't overly shiny and appears to be completely natural, with no greasy texture or feel. Yes, it is more expensive than some others, but it is well worth the money, particularly if you plan to use it on interior surfaces. This has been my experience with all of Griot's products; they are all fantastic.

Handle your black trimming with care
5/5

It's simple to use and remove. On black plastic and vinyl, it makes a significant difference, but I have yet to try it on tires. So far, everything has gone well. No, it doesn't leave any white streaks or anything like that.

I will buy again because of the excellent quality
5/5

When it comes to the finish on my tires and exterior plastics, I'm very particular about what I use and how they look. During my most recent round of spring cleaning, I decided to try some Griots products and was blown away by the rubber and vinyl dressing. It leaves a flawless, even-toned matte finish and is water-based, so it won't age or crack. My last application was almost two weeks ago, and it's still looking good, despite the fact that I'll be reapplying tomorrow. Grab this if you're tired of your vinyl and rubber looking disgustingly tacky and greasy. br>br>I will purchase this product again because it is well worth the money for a high-quality product that will not harm your vehicle or components.

I'm not sure if it's being absorbed because it's watery
4/5

It's a "watery" solution. I used it to wipe down my car's interior plastic and rubber weather seals. It appeared and felt as if I were working with water! I couldn't tell if the product was absorbed by the rubber or simply evaporated. I've only recently begun to use this product, so I can only assume that it will aid in the preservation of my car's rubber and plastic components. If scent is important to you, this product has it. I put it on my tires as well. The tires appear darker (blacker) as a result of this. However, it has no effect on their luster. I prefer Griot's tire dressing, which comes in a pressurized spray can, for tires. It leaves a medium shine that lasts for quite some time.

I'm still looking for a better rubber, plastic, or vinyl dressing
4/5

Tires and black trim were supposed to have a natural appearance, but the product finish was inconsistent (natural vs. glossy). Because of the stained appearance, I had to wipe residue off with a detail product after it rained. I'm not happy with the product or the price, so I'll keep looking for a better deal.
