Questions & Answers

Is it okay to use this product on vinyl siding?

I've used it on vinyl siding but not hard plastics. I'd check out a potential location. Some rubber products soften if they are left on for too long. You could buy the small spray bottle, and even if it doesn't work for the siding, it'll come in handy in the garage for removing grease and grime.

Is it possible to get vynil floor adhesive off of wood using this method? For a 100 sq. ft. space, how much do you need? feet?

It will remove the adhesive, but you should test a small area of the floor first to ensure that it won't harm the wood. I used it to get adhesive off of a concrete floor. One gallon of water should suffice.

Is this a "non-negotiable" situation? detergent that "foams"? For use in a parts washer cabinet that does not require the use of a foam cleaner. ?

It did not foam for us, as far as I recall. To remove tile cement from the floor, we used. It worked well, but it was a bit messy due to the dark tile cement. However, there is no foam present. There were no suds after we squeegeed it all down the floor drain.

I've been using this product for a long time and it's fantastic
5/5

It's quite pricey, but it lasts for a long time. I had to replace a gallon that had been around for at least 15 years. It can clean a wide range of surfaces on a wide range of items. I've been using it for years in my business. It cleans almost everything and is completely safe to use. Although the smell isn't pleasant, it does the job.

I would strongly suggest it
5/5

This stuff is incredible! I've been using this for years to remove laundry stains, and if there is a stain, it won't last long! I get grease stains on my clothes all the time, and Oil Flo completely removes them! After a friend spilled oil and grease all over a white t-shirt, I won a bet. He was about to toss out his shirt (which had blood all over it). I said, "Wait a minute," because I knew it could be cleaned. Nothing, he insisted, could clean such a filthy shirt. Despite the fact that it took two sprayings and washes, the shirt showed no signs of ever being dirty. It'll even get rid of tar on your clothes. I've used it to remove labels from plastic without damaging it, to clean oil stains from concrete, to remove tar from cars, and to clean a variety of other items. The only disadvantage is that it has a strong odor and must be used in a well-ventilated environment. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.

We bought this to get rid of the black mastic that had built up beneath our 60-year-old floor
3/5

The tar- We figured that because the substance was quite thick and our floor was only 189 square feet, one gallon would suffice, as it is supposed to cover 800 to 3200 square feet. Unfortunately, we had to purchase a second gallon, and there was still a lot of stuff left. I went out and bought a gallon of WD-40. It's now at 40, and it's easily cleaned up what's left. It makes me wonder if we should have tried it first, given how much cheaper it is.

I used it to remove linoleum tile mastic from a concrete basement floor and it worked beautifully
5/5

Nothing else appeared to be effective. Water-based cleaning - Because it is biodegradable, we simply sprayed it down the floor drain with a hose. If you let it dry, you'll have to use more to remove the dried stuff.

Well, it works well on tar, but BOY, THE SMELL IS AWFUL
5/5

Well, it works well on tar, but BOY, THE SMELL IS AWFUL. The entire house was filled, and it would be best to wait until summer to use it because you'll need to keep the windows open to keep the smell out. It doesn't have a particularly unpleasant odor, but it pervades the entire home.

The best stuff I've ever seen! This was useful in removing 70-year-old tar
5/5

It was absolutely fantastic! It does take more water than videos on the internet suggest, but that could be due to the age of my tar. I'm going to go out and buy some more to clean up the oil and grease on my garage floor.

Do not squander your cash
3/5

It didn't turn out the way I had hoped. Scraping is a more cost-effective and efficient method of demolition.
