Questions & Answers

Is it safe to use aluminum in this way?

When properly diluted 1: 4 or 1: Yes, you can use it on aluminum without any problems.

Is there any acid in this degreaser? I used a 10:1 dilution. In one day, one solution was applied to two new pressure spray bottles, both of which cracked and began to leak. ?

This stuff is as effective as it is pleasant to the nose. The ratio is listed on the bottle, depending on what you're using it for. It's fantastic, and I use it in a cheap dollar store spray bottle.

I'd like to clean the engine bay of my 2004 BMW 530i, which is clogged with gunk and goo. Is it safe to use in engine bays? What is the best dilution ratio to use?

Yes, it is safe for engine bays and can be diluted at a ratio of 1:5 or 1:10. 10 or 1: 4 depending on the amount of gunk and goo on the floor. Rinse after spraying and agitating with a soft brush.

Is there any Carnauba in this?

This is a citrus degreaser that cleans rather than protects, so there is no carnauba in it.

Frank's Hot Sauce is a hot sauce made by Frank's Restaurant in New York It should be applied to anything
5/5

This is, without a doubt, the best cleaner I've ever used. Grease and dirt are melted away. I used it to clean an rv that had been soiled for 20 years, and you can see how well it cleans. Squeaky clean is what I'm talking about. It's been used to clean an engine bay, tires, wheels, and leather seats in cars. I've had a fantastic time! You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase.

This is fantastic for tree sap! My boat is moored in a small boat yard where I keep it
5/5

Unfortunately, an Elm tree has taken over the yard; it's a lovely tree with lots of shade, but the sap from it has turned a $2,500 mooring cover black. I tried power washers and dawn soap to clean it, but they didn't even come close to getting rid of the caked-on sap, so I had to resort to pure bleach. For obvious reasons, I despise bleach. Based on another review from a woman who used it to clear tree sap from her green house, I decided to give this product a try this spring. When it arrived, I made a 1:1 solution in a small spray bottle. 4 ratio. I went to the boatyard with the expectation that nothing would work. I sprayed a small area, and the black sap began to run down the cover almost immediately. I took a brush and applied a little more, and with moderate effort (due to the thick sap layer), I was able to clean the sap all the way down to the original cover. I was genuinely surprised and impressed at how easily it removed the sap. Even so, cleaning the entire cover (24 hours) took 6 hours. 5 ft. It was a lot easier than using Dawn or bleach on the boat. 4:1 ratio of mixtures I sprayed and scrubbed in the heaviest areas for the first time, but it was so dark that I couldn't see what I'd done, so I rinsed it off and used a smaller spray bottle to touch up the areas I missed after the first heavy scrub. The cover is nearly spotless at this point. This is something I strongly suggest you do. (BTW: There is no longer an elm tree in the vicinity. It was sad to see it go, but I couldn't imagine scrubbing for 6 hours every spring!.

Grease is a powerful tool
5/5

Cutter. I bought it for a specific reason - to clean the engine in my 2007 Hummer H3 (though I'm sure I'll find other uses for it! We've had the H3 since it was new, and we'd clean the trim under the hood on a regular basis, but I'd never washed the engine or engine bay before. It had probably been over a year since I had even wiped the engine trim when I finally washed it. HOWEVER, once you've completed number one, you'll be ready to move on to number I believe the results of 5 hours of TLC speak for themselves in the attached photos! br>br>Because the instructions don't specify a dilution ratio, I started with a 50/50 dilution on the inside of the hood in a spray bottle. Before I completed the project, I used the product at 100%. Recommendations: br>br> br>1) I'll admit up front that spraying water under my hood has made me nervous. I did a lot of research before attempting this, and it wasn't nearly as terrifying as I had anticipated. If you've never cleaned an engine before, I recommend doing some research to assuage your fears. br>2) Clean your engine in the shade with a cool-down spray. Remember that you'll be washing away a lot of grease and grime, so choose a suitable location. 3) Use a small towel and a plastic bag to cover the alternator and any other important electronics. br>4) Having a variety of brushes (of various shapes and sizes) is beneficial. br>5) Begin with the inside of the hood, then move on to the engine. br>6) Spray (and wait a few minutes) - > Agitate/Scrub - > Rinse. br>7) After you've finished rinsing, blow out the excess water with compressed air or a leaf blower. br>8) Microfiber towels can be used to dry. 9) Dressing should be applied. The plastic trim got a coat of foaming tire shine. Whatever you use, make sure it doesn't attract dust and that it's only sprayed on plastic and rubber trim. br>10) Remove any overspray from the vehicle's exterior surfaces as soon as possible (flush thoroughly). br>11) Seal the painted areas with a wax or paint sealant. Advantages: br>br> Grease cutter with a pleasant odor that does what it says on the tin.
Cons: On the label, there are no dilution ratios listed (the video on the product page says 4: 1), it's not the cheapest degreaser, and it doesn't come with a spray bottle (yeah, I'm picky). a little picking) br>br>To summarize, I highly recommend this product!.

What a bargain at this price! Because this product is concentrated, follow the directions for diluting it with water
5/5

I ignored this and used the undiluted product to clean my bike chain and sprocket; I was amazed at how quickly the dirt dripped off, so I double-checked the bottle. Everything is fine now that I've cleaned up my bike; just be careful!.

I was able to remove my car's baked-on sunscreen
5/5

Someone smeared sunscreen all over my leather seats, which baked in my vehicle. I couldn't seem to get it to come off no matter what I did. This product, however, was successful. Wow.

Grease Staining on the Carpet My dog got into the Treager's grease bucket and promptly began vomiting
5/5

My carpet was covered in a dark, black grease-like substance that she had thrown up. I tried a variety of carpet cleaners by hand, as well as my Rug Dr machine, but nothing worked to remove the very dark (black) grease from my light-colored carpet. Yes, I'm grateful that my dog is fine. I ordered this degreaser after thinking I'd have to replace my carpet, and it removed the entire stain in two cleaning sessions. I strongly advise you to buy this book.

It was used on the seats in the car
5/5

I bought the 16 oz cleaner (in a spray bottle) for my son, who just purchased a car from Carmax. We discovered sticky car seats, which we believe were caused by cleaners used before the sale. This Orange Degreaser did a fantastic job cleaning. A brush and a microfiber cloth were all it took to remove the stickiness. He didn't have to dilute the 16-ounce Orange Degreaser at all. This is an excellent product.

I use it as a household cleaner and find it to be effective
5/5

I dilute it and use it in my home. It's great for the stovetop and the counters. Ants and other insects are also deterred by the use of orange oil. This isn't always an issue, but it's a nice perk. br>br>On cars, it appears to work well; however, it isn't as effective as GooGone or some of the better degreasers. As part of a car wash, it appears to be effective, but not as an engine degreaser. br>br>It's amazing, as I said as an all-purpose cleaner around the house. Amazing when it comes to road grime. Not what I consider to be a degreaser.
