I found the chains to be easy to install - A single set of tires on the front takes only five minutes to install. I used them over a 5-day period during a snow and ice storm and they held up fine. It was a brilliant job they did on the sharp A slope to a driveway and Texas Hill Country roads covered in snow and ice. Hundreds of vehicles off the road. My only complaint is that one of the center stretchers failed with only one leg at the top, but considering that these were 10 years old, and I was using them for the first time, I'm still giving 5 stars and buying a second set for the trip to Colorado.

This bottom chain connects the cross chain through the cross links but was snagged in the process. My first issue was getting both pairs of chains on for a test fit.
