Questions & Answers

Do you know if UV protection is included in this product?

Neither this nor its components contain UV protection. It is called Force Field UV protection, and it is a separate purchase. The first one will go on first, and I will let it cure for 24 hours. Once this product is applied to the UV protectant, I will spray that on top.

What if I want to use this on a fabric convertible top?

In short, yes. A friend of mine uses this product on the canvas top of her Beetle car. It is best to use the 303 fabric cleaner first. You will need the entire 32 oz bottle of fabric guard if you roll it on vs spray it on. I rolled it on for better results, but I guarantee it will use up the whole 32 oz bottle with at least one coat. This is not easy, but it is worthwhile. It's like I've just waxed it. Every 6 months, I apply and water beads off. I am very pleased with this product. It does not penetrate plastic, paint, or go on windows. It's best to wipe it off as soon as possible to avoid having to scrub where the spill occurred.

Will a gallon of commercial carpet cleaner cover a large area? It is enough to give a rough estimate. Thanks a lot. ?

My boat cover was 12' x 30', which was done with 1 gallon of acrylic paint. There's probably no way to go any heavier, but it really works! It just races away from it when it rains.

What is its cleaning and protection capability?

In this case, it acts as a protector. As an added bonus, 303 also has a cleaner you can use It is very effective to repel water and dirt on my Audi A5 convertible top when I use the 303 Cleaner and 303 Protectant. I hope this is You'll enjoy it!

In terms of gross dogs, there are I want my couch to be clean
5/5

It took me a few weeks to get over my initial skepticism about the product. The price to volume ratio seemed to be off as what I purchased could barely treat a five foot sofa and cushions Although I believed the product was unusable for a few months, I now believe it is worth it. In addition to two Australian shepherds and a very drooling American bulldog, I own two Australian shepherd puppies. Unfortunately, only two of my dogs like to lay on the sofa, one of them is a notoriously drool-filled bulldog and the other is an aussie pup. A rainy evening after my husband let the dogs out, the pups came in. After leaving my house the night before, I was shocked to discover my sofa covered in muddy dog prints and I decided to attempt to clean the sofa once the shock and gloom had passed. A damp cloth was all that was needed to remove all of the dirt. Fabric guards did exactly what they were supposed to do and prevented me from absorbing the nasty scents. This product is great and I recommend it to everyone.

It is the most effective waterproofing treatment available for Sunbrella fabrics
5/5

The waterproofing on our sunbrella boat cockpit cover ("bimini") was due to wear and tear. This item is 15 years old, and it leaked in a rain literally everywhere in the past. There is so much wear on that fabric that water could easily penetrate it. Following instructions, we removed the fabric (about 12x15 feet), rolled it up on the driveway (clean), and cleaned the fabric from It was cleaned with a liberal rinse of both sides and the concrete drive. The dried ingredients were ready to use after being exposed to the sun. Since the only side that the application should go on was the top, it is obvious that the side to apply to is We also had a 32oz spray bottle of this wonderful liquid, and I replenished it as I ran out (it is a large area!! When the spray was dry (which did not take very long on a sunny and windy day), I did it again, but this time I altered my pattern by 90 degrees. then, when the top was dry, I did it again, this time on diagonals instead of lines. Having covered the entire area in this way, I felt reasonably certain I had covered it all. There was a time more than two years ago when that happened. I expect we will have to do it again when the bimini hasn't leaked anything in that time. In our case, as we are international cruisers (we live on a sailboat), that could mean we might not be able to retrieve it so easily. It probably just related to "ship's stores", so this was just an impulse purchase. We had left over from our previous gallon, so we used it to backup. The only thing we would not do is Even old fabrics are waterproofed, even if they have been aging for some time.

Very easy to use It should be applied with care
5/5

The product has been applied to my convertible top and has so far shown great results. The last time I applied it was about a month ago. I haven't seen any rain since, but I did test it out and the water beads up and easily rolls off. In the process of washing my top a couple of days ago, I tested out the top about 24 hours after it had dried and water beaded I have found that 303 Fabric guard does exactly what it says it will and adheres to anything that it is sprayed As a result, I am issuing a warning. Strata taped off all of the panels as well as the windows around my car's convertible top, and I covered them with plastic before applying it. There is a reason why you want to put this time into it. Although I covered some of my windshield, I did not cover all of it. My windshield was damaged after some of the spray landed on it when there was a light breeze. The fact that I hadn't noticed it until getting in the car surprised me. When I tried removing it, it stuck to my fingers Unfortunately, that didn't work out. As a matter of fact, I had to use window cleaner and even rubbing alcohol with careful rubbing to get the stains In any case, it first smears on the window and does not come off until it is fully dry. The pain was very difficult to remove, and it took me about a half hour to scrape That's a lot of power! We warned you not to put it on the paint or the glass of your car if you don't want to spend a lot of time on it! Using it as a protectant, I recommend it!.
