As it was time for a good clean and protection, I put about five drops of simple car wash soap into 3 gallons of water and worked in the shade. Use a Microfiber Wash Mitt four times in small sections and follow with a dry Microfiber Towel after each. DO NOT press hard. My tires were also treated with a brand new Tire Dressing Applicator Sponge and in small sections a heavy coat of protectant was applied. After about 30 minutes of sitting, I removed it from the fridge. It was given a second coat of product and covered with a soft microfiber towel using only VERY light mists. It is perfection.
