Questions & Answers

Where can I find chlorine bleach in marine 31?

Although it's not all bleach, it does seem to do so. In comparison with the state of my seats when it was new, it cleaned them much better.

What is the maximum temperature that Marine 31 Mildew Remove can be used at?

It seemed to work well on boat seats, but I have no idea what convertible tops are

Is it safe on mesh patio furniture? Will it remove black mold from it?

Without a doubt. I can honestly say that this is the best product I've

What is the likelihood that this product will remove the mildew stains on my inflatable kayak made of ?

This product I sprayed onto my vinyl seats, and the mildew vanished before my eyes instead of having to scrub it off. After that, I sprayed it on the fiberglass of my older boat that I was considering painting because I could not get the dark streaks out of it. As soon as the stains were removed, the stains disappeared again.

As a result of adding bleach to this product, it is not eco-friendly
3/5

Purchasing this product led me to believe that bleach was not contained in it. When bleach is used on vinyl upholstery, the stitching is damaged. Immediately after spraying this product on our vinyl upholstery, we could smell the strong smell of bleach. Rinsing the product as soon as possible was the first thing we did. There was no ingredient list on the bottle, as I looked for it on the bottle. Product labels should indicate that bleach is contained in this product. The manner in which I have been misled and wasted my time and money displeases me very much as a consumer.

My purchase of a boat that had been sitting uncovered for almost ten years in the Texas heat and weather was an unbelievable purchase
5/5

Our team wasted no time in cleaning the inside and outside of the boat using Comet cleaner and scrub brushes. The boat was unharmed by this flood, and it would have been hard to tell that it had been sat for as long as it had unless you saw the mildewed We tried everything and nothing worked on the black mildew stains. A little research online brought me to this product. It worked like magic! I sprayed a test panel about 3 foot by 3 foot and went in the garage to grab a rag to wipe it off. The boat was fully equipped with reupholstery when we purchased it, so now we don't need to do any of that, and it looks like brand new. Thanks to this product, we were able to save thousands of dollars on interior wear and tear. This is amazing!.

It does work, but it is very expensive
3/5

Yes, this stuff really does work. After using a heavy dose of bleach and a power washer and still having mildew to the extent that no-one would want to sit on my vinyl, I became desperate. After several minutes of waiting, I saw immediate results after trying the Marine 31. I had given up on reversing the damage, but after trying as a last resort I realized that the seats could be repaired. We applied several more applications of cleaner and scrubbed the vinyl to bring it back to an acceptable condition, but the finish is still not "wow" with several light stains still visible. As a result, I kept repeating myself After using the entire bottle of product, I applied it again and again. It got a little easier to see stains as time went on. As I was about to order another bottle of this product, I realized it smelled the same and felt the same on my hands as something I used a couple years back while power washing Using Tilex Pro Products for Mold and Mildew Removal The best mildew stain remover on the market. Because I still had some, I gave it a try. The Marine 31 appeared to work equally well as this. More Tilex has been applied to the vinyl, and it has now taken on a stylish look. I didn't even scrub most of the subsequent applications, simply letting it sit for several minutes for the remaining applications. It was fortunate that the day was cloudy and humid, keeping the seats moist and allowing it to work for an extended period. - I see no difference in price between the two Purchasing Marine 31 for $20 will get you 20 oz. Those who purchase 128 oz of Tilex for $12 will receive a $3. 00 discount. As I said, the product does the job extremely well, but it is pretty pricey.

When it says what it will do, it does it
5/5

I was very pleased with it. The cleaning results are still really good even though I had to spray at some spots more than once to get it off 100%. In most cases, you just spray it on and mildew seems to disappear right before * After washing it off, be sure to rinse. The shorts I wore got ruined, so wear old cloth and gloves as well. Bleach is involved in the process. I think you'll be glad you got it, as it does the job well and will make you happy for the money spent. Detailers often can't compete with this for so much cheaper than they can if they want to do the job professionally. My 18 feet boat can now be cleaned with just one bottle. I ordered 2, but I ended up only needing one. You should consider getting two of these because this thing is worth the money, regardless of when you are going to use it.

I have had no problems with my pontoon seats since I purchased this product! The company's nbsp All other methods I have tried to remove mold/mildew from my pontoon had failed
5/5

This solution is the only one that My initial step was to spray this stuff on and it started working within minutes. I had a small assortment of 3M products, Starbrite, Magic Erasers, Multiple soaps, and whatever else I could find at West Marine. This is the only cleaner that I have found that just washes or melts the crud from There is no need for scrubbing or brushing at the beginning. In addition to the before and after video, I have attached two photos of how the seats used to look before I started working. * I apologize for the speedy pace of (After moving, Anyway, I hope you can get the idea of how awesome this stuff is from simply spraying it! This stuff is so great, I can't believe how well it You should be aware that this product smells strongly of bleach, so be sure you don't use it on anything sensitive to bleach. you're going scrub with a rag or anything, you'll want to wear gloves made of rubber/latex. Having discovered the hard way myself, I can attest to this! After doing all of this, you should clean everything off completely and seal it with the mold/mildew inhibitor you have at hand. If you do not totally wash off the Remover, it will begin to degrade your seat stitching. It worked great for me this weekend using Mildew Guard (Marine 31) and I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs when my boat cover is Keeping air moving under the boat cover is also accomplished by running a box fan 24/7. This may sound weird, but I have a 2013 22' Bennington pontoon. If you are experiencing the same issues that I have, I hope this is helpful.

This is excellent

A few items worked on the seats of my golf cart and pontoon, but not all of them. Probably the best product used was Simple Green which pretty much gets rid of any type of dirt or grime. I then ordered Marine 31 Mildew Remover, which changed my whole perception of what I should use on my After I used Simple Green on the golf cart, I sprayed some on it. It took me about 10 minutes to let it set. As soon as I went back to look at it, there it was. I was extremely happy with the condition of the seats. You don't need to wipe it down or scrub it. Be sure to spray. Leaving is as easy as walking away. In order to keep the supply in my home, I have ordered a new bottle after lending some to my neighbor. My favorite program to date. I'd rather not use anything else.
