We got much better results than we As soon as I noticed the black plastic/rubber trim on my car was becoming lighter gray and white, I decided to restore it
3/5

I've tried other trim restorer kits, but either they were too involved, required multiple applications, or simply didn't last as long as this kit. There were quite a few differences between TriNova and the rest of the field. The Trim Restorer I tried on my '15 4-door was incredible The sedan is a four-door model. In looking at it and from memory, it doesn't look like it was ever touched Having been off the lot for about three weeks, we have done some work to the trim. The applicator was filled with a small drop of dye and I carefully applied it to a small piece of black trim using the included yellow pad. The trim turned from a near white color to a dark gray very quickly. It took about a minute or two for the application to complete. I returned to find the trim to be a dark gray, but it wasn't Using a bit of a rag, I rubbed the trim and within seconds, it became Using the yellow applicator, I applied four drops to the yellow trim and then gently rubbed it in. I repeated this process for the entire During my time at the restorer, I worked about 15 hours a day Before stepping back and taking a glance, he took a step away from it. I still own the black car I bought brand new when I purchased it. After being so happy and surprised by the results, I began working on more pieces of trim. My quest to restore more trim eventually took me to an antique store. Starting with the trimming pieces on the exterior, I then worked my way around the door and to My bottle was barely used after I completed the assignment, so I lifted it up. It was my first thought, "what the heck, I'm probably going to lose track of the bottle before I even use all this stuff up. ". The trim restorer works best when the trim is warm, so here are a few tips. One of the few occasions when you should apply sunscreen in the sun is this one. Thankfully, the bottle is sealed, so I do not have to be concerned about the liquid spilling during shipment, which I cannot say from other bottles Apply the solution to a smooth plastic surface and wipe it down immediately after. Whenever excess is applied to smooth plastic, I notice obvious drips left behind. Neither rubber nor material with a textured surface worked for me. There is more to life if you have less. One ounce of the restorer was not even a bit necessary for my one-door sedan. All the exterior trim, rubber in the door, and various small places that aren't often seen were restored with the yellow pad
My car was restored nicely this way. There is usually a lot of dust and fluid left behind from cloth. While applications are in progress. If there is excess, wipe it off. Watermarks will appear on glass when it is used. There is no staining. I'm satisfied with the end result, but right now it would be nice if TriNova made it available in smaller quantities since 8oz is a lot for my standard size 4-inch tubing The sedan is a four-door model. The following is an update to update After one wash, one waxing, and several morning hose sprays to get rid of frost on the car, the treatment has been subjected to numerous treatments. I have seen good results from the treatment so far. It's still the same dark/black color as it was before I am posting Update #2 for your information It has been four weeks since the treatment was first applied, so it My hair is becoming gray and white again as I am seeing spots appear. This treatment lasts about a month, based on the look of things. I will reapply You should apply and update your information as needed. As I apply for more positions, I'm noticing that each application lasts only three to four hours We have four weeks to go. In case you are not clear, this is a 3 In 4 weeks, the car was kept in a carport at night and light rain fell on it. In the aftermath of a week of fairly heavy rain, I noticed the application timeline had been cut in half.

The rainy season should be referred to as the rainy season It is "gone"
3/5

There are no reviews after a rainstorm from anyone who gave this product 5 stars, either because they live in an area where it doesn't rain or because they didn't update their reviews When it rained it disappeared. Won't look good when applied, but looks fantastic when applied. I think the liquid is mineral oil that has thickened. This is the vehicle for you if you want showroom looks and drive indoors. Ninety-nine percent of us who drive outside forget to take it into account. It was an unnecessary waste of my money.

I love it! I'm amazed at this stuff
5/5

I loved how easy it was to apply and I was able to restore my plastic from a patchy light grey to its This product won't dye the car, so there's no need to tape it up from top to bottom.

As a result of high reviews and information shared by people who purchased/used the product to restore rubber and plastic trim on my wife's 2010 Honda CRV, this was the worst experience I've ever had with a car care product
3/5

Immediately after its paint finish correction, I completed a significant Meguiar's 5 step process for it (clay bar, compound, polish, wax, I worked for many hours to get the mirrored finish. Then I applied trinova to all of the lower trim pieces, side view mirror housings, pillars, door handles, roof rails, and shark fins. I came home to find it had rained pretty heavily after 5 hours at work. It was brought home to me that evening, and my wife commented that I need to deal with it. As I started to apply this product to my surfaces, I saw it had run on every surface. It is clearly stated in the product description that this prevents rain from getting on the cars. Amazon was the first place I went to post the question, "How can you remove this from paint?" Upon receiving her message, the manufacturer suggested hot water with dishwashing liquid dissolved Dishwashing liquid would strip off all of the polishing product that I just applied and ruin my finish, so I did not want to use it. So, with nothing to lose, I decided to remove the residue using whatever I had on hand. To wash the car, I used Meguiar's Gold Class car wash with hot water, scrubbed with a microfiber cloth under moderate pressure, and then rinsed with clean water and dried it with a towel. It was easy to clean the car with Meguiar's car wash. Then again. I am now thinking that if the car wash were to successfully remove the TriNova product, then in theory the product would be removed every time I wash my car, making the process redundant. To remove the oily residue I used isopropyl rubbing alcohol to gently remove all 17 of the plastic parts (side view mirror housings, roof rails, door handles, and pillars) I had treated with TriNova. There was a lot of time spent on the process and I have to say that I was not pleased. It is not clear to me why some people had the problem and others did not. The experience I had was the only one I had. Here are some photos I will attach. In this review I intend to express my experience of working with this company with the community. It is the first time I have written a lengthy negative review. It is obvious that I will not be using it any longer.

This product does what it is supposed to do, and is better than what I have used previously
5/5

A 2006 Nissan Pathfinder was used to test this product. It took me a while to decide whether this type of product would work on some of the plastic trim pieces because they had weathered to almost white, so I wasn't even sure it would work since it was my last attempt before I removed them and repainted them. When the synthetic dye was applied, the plastic was restored to its original color This time it turned grey and black, and it did not wash away.
I have already had rain a few times, and it did not wash away, so it is better than "Black Again" and some other product I made a mistake of forgetting I had I also noticed the following positive aspects Plastic does not adhere to oils like that is found in other products. Basically, there is no need to buy anything for all those small pieces around roof rails, wipers, running boards, etc. In my experience, I did not use much for one application, so at that rate, the bottle will last for quite a few years. This is a product I would recommend and would buy.
