I've been an Armor All user for over 40 years, since I bought my first car. I've tried both the Original and Shinny formulas, and they're both great. Armor all is, in my opinion, the gold standard. That said, I only use this product for very light cleaning. I use it because of its protective properties, which it excels at. I'd invest in a pre-owned car. Prior to applying the protectant, use a cleaning product to remove any heavy dirt. br>br>As a long-time Armor All user, I purchased this product primarily for the value it provides. It's all about getting the best deal possible. At least, that's what Amazon says.

I found that if you dilute it with some water, say about 60% product and 40% water, it makes a great engine detailer.
I br> Begin with a clean detailed engine, clean any dirt out with your armor all, and then spray your diluted solution in a light coat over the entire engine, wiping up any overspray from your fenders, and the engine heat will spread the dilution evenly over everything the next time you drive the car, giving the entire engine bay a shiny glossy coat.

You save a TON of money per ounce. I washed and coated the vinyl in my previous house and it looked AMAZING and became pliable again, not brittle; I'm doing the same thing with our current interior garage (which is vinyl-coated). Furthermore, when compared to purchasing four quart bottles, the 'content per gram' of plastic is extremely low, so combining this with the fact that it extends the life of vinyl, it is more environmentally sound than allowing vinyl to become unsightly/structurally brittle and requiring replacement.

I got Armor All because it's such a versatile product, and I needed it for my car's exterior trim, such as the front splitter and some rubber panels that go all the way around my car, which had started to fade and turn white. It works right away and begins to restore the original finish, but it requires a second coat after a couple of weeks, but that could be due to the fading nature of my car's materials. Great product for coating anything that is close to plaster or rubber around the house!.

When I detail my car, I really enjoy using this stuff. I use this to spray any plastics or vinyl on the car, and it always looks fantastic. I'm power washing my house, which has vinyl siding, so I bought it in this size again. I also have the shutters that are decorative. Every few years, those oxidize and Paul is the victim. Fill a spray bottle with this stuff, spray the shutter, and watch the original color return. Using a rag, wipe away any excess. To save money, purchase the one gallon size and then purchase a six-pack of spray bottles.

As a result, after cleaning the wheel wells with a brush, I limit my use of Armor All Protectant to two or three sprays per wheel well. It darkens the wheel well, and since wheel wells get dirty quickly, I'm not worried about the Armor All's longevity. The big refill bottle's cap came off during transit/delivery, leaking all over the inside of the box and onto my floor, as it says. I finally got my money's worth when the replacement arrived in a second box that was sealed. My floor, on the other hand, was a complete disaster to clean up. I like how the product looks in my car, but I'm not sure I'll order it again.
