Questions & Answers

The rainy season lasts approximately 3 months Do you need to reapply for X?

In my experience, it degrades more quickly than the others - or maybe I set the bar higher because I want it to work like new all the time. So, I have to reapply it before every rain, or a week has gone by since the last. *br>It is possible to work for months, you just need to know what is acceptable to you. Just an FYI In addition, the more pitting on the glass, the worse it works, so the effectiveness and length of time it takes to work declines, and this could be the reason most people aren't satisfied with the My windshield was replaced and suddenly it worked better than ever, which took me a while to figure out why it worked better on some cars than others. It's like a little light went off and now you know what it is. After that it was easier to tell the difference due to the pitting caused by sand or whatever causes Additionally, the sun can shorten its lifetime quite a bit, and using wipers over it can shorten its life as well so I only use new wipers and only wipe if I must. I guess the short answer to this is you just have to try it out and see how it works with your car, but it's definitely worth a try because, when things go right, it is really cool. If your speed is high enough to blow the water off, you are far better off using your hair dryer than wipers, and that is apparent the harder it rains. There are times when it's raining so hard that others are driving super slow because they can't see, but I see well! I also use it on my shower door, but you need to really clean it first. I use Scotchbrite and Comet to do it. When I am cleaning the windows of the car I usually use the paste window cleaner rather than Windex. You rub it on with a wet rag, let it dry, then wipe it off with a wet rag to get a superb clean. There was a white plastic tub of maybe 16 oz, but I don't recall what the brand was called, and the label fell off long ago. Getting your hands on this cleaner is the best thing you can do for your windows. You can also buy RainX that you add to the wiper fluid, which isn't quite as effective, but is pretty nice if you don't want to manually do it, or when it rains unexpectedly. Simply spray some washer fluid on and it starts working immediately! I have been using the software for several months now and it's been a great experience.

I was wondering how many applications this small Can it be used similarly to)?

The volume of rainx needed depends on the size of the windshield, but from my experience with a Toyota 4runner and an Infiniti G35x, a bottle of rainx will give 15-17 gallons There are 20 windshield applications in total

Would this work on a motorcycle visor (plastic)? What do you think of it?

It would be great if you could wax plastic raincoats In an ideal world, x would last for

What kind of stuff does this stuff do? Can we use a cloth in the same way we would ?

The small size is because, as others have stated, otherwise it is wasteful. My favorite is cloth, but a paper towel also seems to work. After cleaning the glass really well, apply the gel and be sure it gets everywhere on the glass. Let it dry for perhaps a minute, and buff it It used to be difficult for people like me and the rest of the world to finish our work streak-free. In fact, it was never streak-free you just kept wiping/smearing it around until it was too late. My microfiber towels are streak free and I can get the job done in a fraction of the time. So just a heads up.

Eyeglasses and phones will be good to go with this
5/5

Having bought Rain I am very pleased with it My two eyeglasses are the primary reason I bought X. A few scratches were visible and the glass was constantly getting smeared. As soon as the bottle arrived, the instructions put me in a tizzy. There was a warning not to use antibacterial products on surfaces Coatings, including those on plastic, can reflect light. The anti-reflective coating on my glasses works great The frames have a glare coating and are made of I do not plan to treat the plastic at all, but I know that it will come into contact with the glass while I work on it. I think it will rain- It is X who ruins everything Can you explain what glare coating is? Are the frames going to be harmed by it? In the end, I applied the Rain-Defending Power Pack despite my concerns This is amazing. There are no scratches left on the surface. In opposition to It is okay to have a glare coating. Neither the plastic nor the paper were I have a beautiful pair of glasses. In addition, I no longer have to scrub them constantly. -

Rain - Because the work X did on the tempered glass screen protector on my cellphone was so impressive, I decided to try it out. This phone is always dirty with prints because the oleophobic coating on the screen protector wore off years ago, so the phone looks unattractive. It has rained. That problem was cured as well by X.

Worked for me
5/5

Take the time to read the instructions. Please see https//www. nbsp The stuff here is awesome! We make it easy to apply. Listen to the stupid people who read the directions before attempting the mission. It is foggy in the film. You should be able to read it. Rub it off with a soft cloth. If I am driving in heavy rain or at highway speeds, this is preferable to the wipers. Water slides right off, and my wipers are never needed. A light drizzle at speeds below 40mph won't allow the tiny drops of water to slide off because the water doesn't have enough weight to it. It's a little common sense, but still. I was surprised to find that even the long term durability is better than Probably for the last three months, I have had this on. Over the years, it has gone through many car washes and occasional windshield wiper use. It has also been exposed to Yesterday it rained, and I'm seeing the results today. However, I bought this because my windshield had an unusual film on it that made water stick and smudge, and it was making driving quite dangerous for me. It was completely fixed with this stuff, plus My experience with this product has been great.

The best of the best
5/5

It has rained. Rain-X is one of my favorite products of all time. There is no doubt that X works. I use it in the following way Please note that A rubbing alcohol/water mixture is used to clean the window to ensure no dust or dirt gets trapped under the rain shield. Please note that My lazy way to do this is to squirt the rainx directly onto the window and spread it with a paper towel using a circular motion*- During the rainx, I let it sit between 4 and 5 p. m. Usually disappears after 8 minutes (by then it gets hazy)
- Using a paper towel, I sprayed water on it. Eventually the haze will disappear. Here are a few tips Please note that Apparently, some people dislike rainx because it leaves a haze After the work is done, there shouldn't be a haze. For haze that may be present, make sure Rainx isn't on too long and use a little water on the paper towel to remove it (see the steps I listed above) to get rid of it. Please note that Whenever you have rainx sitting around for a long period of time, I recommend shaking it a little bit. A very slight separation occurs between the solvent and the product, sending the product to It would be easier to apply it if you shook it, but you would only be applying solvent, which would evaporate and there would be very little product *If this helped at all, please hit helpful by clicking it.

Glass that is old is the best to be treated
5/5

In case you cannot see well when it's raining, it's likely to be a result of your windshield becoming corroded and pitted from road debris and age. You can barely see through the rain drops, as they spread out and spread. Rain of any intensity is difficult to see downpours that are heavy can't be seen at all. The reason why drivers stop in torrential rains is because of this. The windshield is so pitted that they are not able to see, because the chips are so deep. In a rain x treatment, the water is kept from blocking your vision after it is beaded up. It doesn't matter how hard it rains, you will still be able to see! A lot of old cars have glass that is damaged and needs to be repaired.

You're doing an awesome job
5/5

I would direct everyone to use rain if I were a dictator (IF) The glass windshields of their cars display an x. There is no better way to describe it. It does more than prevent heavy rain from beading up and rolling off your windshield it also prevents fine spray developed by vehicles in front of you from forming a sheet of water on it. Using the spray on rain, I was able to get good results We have tried the liquid rub and it is not as effective as the x- A rainy day - You have to put in a little elbow grease to properly apply this, but it's worth it.

It's a decent product, but it leaks from the container
3/5

In the past, I have used the Since you need to refresh the application every few weeks during rainy seasons, you have been using x for years, and the results are good. A small leak with the shipping box appears to have occurred, leading to some of the contents leaking out prior to their arrival in the warehouse. There was a leak of maybe a third of the container. Depending on Amazon's excellent guarantee, I may be able to receive a refund or exchange. Here's what's new It has been raining for a couple of days now I have had numerous encounters with X over the past decade. There are no changes to the packaging, but it seems the product has changed. my most recent application, I became disappointed to discover that the results are only lasting for about a week or two. Here are my methods of applying this product
1. To properly treat a window,
1. The window should be thoroughly cleaned and completely dry. To apply the product, utilize a clean, soft, dry cloth and apply the product directly to the cloth. Rotate the application cloth in circular motions, covering the entire glass surface. The third part. Step 2 is normally repeated in step 3, enlarging the cloth and applying a second treatment. The fourth paragraph. Keep wiping up any excess product using a new, clean, dry, soft cloth, and in a circular motion, making sure to get all corners and around the assembly of the windshield wipers. This is 5. Wipe the area in a circular pattern with a dry, clean cloth, and then wipe it with a soft cloth Prepare the surface thoroughly by drying it The sixth point. The result should be that a new, clean, dry cloth will glide easily over it if you have been successful with your treatment(s).
