There is a blue dye in it. If you're worried about the dye staining the product, rest assured that we haven't heard of anyone complaining about it. You won't have any staining problems if you dilute the product according to the directions.
It isn't designed to be used with a power washer, unfortunately. It won't hurt, but it won't foam up nearly as much and won't clean as thoroughly as you'd like.
For those who are curious, I can confirm that aftermarket tint is safe. The answer about factory tint is irrelevant because regular glass is tinted the same way. There is no tint on the surface of the glass because it is tinted by the factory. The film that they apply to the windows is known as aftermarket tint. The tint will be damaged by anything containing ammonia.

I've been on the lookout for a new booze-free option. Since the sale of my favorite window cleaner (Turtle Wax Clear Vue) was halted by new EPA regulations due to excessive VOCs (What a joke! ), I've been using a water-based window cleaner. ) I came across this product and decided to give it a shot because I've been using Meguiar's products for over 40 years and have always been impressed with their quality. The mixture was too watery and did a poor job of cleaning glass on my house and car when carefully mixed according to the manufacturer's instructions (using distilled water to maximize formula quality). I changed the proportional mix of Mequiar to water from the recommended 1/10 to 1/5 and got fantastic results - There are no streaks or smudges on the glass; it is completely clear. It's fantastic!.
I'm a big fan of these car-care items. They work as advertised, and if you buy the gallon containers, you'll save money and get better products than you would in a car parts store if you bought the smaller spray bottle products. The fragrances are pleasant, and you can tell they were designed to do what they claim. Meguiars is a great company, and you can't go wrong if you are serious about car care. I use the shampoo (car wash), synthetic spray wax, last touch detailer, vinyl and rubber conditioner (great product), interior quik detailer (not greasy and leaves subtle satin sheen), window cleaner (distilled water), tire and wheel cleaners, and detailing clay. br>br> I also own their MT300 polisher, which is simple to operate and produces a polished finish. Mequiars' spray bottles are compatible with their products and mist effectively.
I bought a gallon to use at home and to clean the windows of my car. In terms of glass cleaning liquids, it is the best on the market. We needed to test a variety of glass cleaning products to find something that was both affordable and effective. br>br>After much research, my husband came across this Meguiar Glass cleaner, and we decided to give it a try. br>br>We used a bottle sprayer to mix a gallon of water with 1 cup of concentrated Meguiar glass cleaner. We reused our old windex container and poured it in there, as you can see in the photo. By diluting it with water, we were able to save a significant amount of money. Finally! br>br> Apart from saving money, this is far superior! This is how you get a streak-free mirror or glass! Strongly suggested!.
I drive a lot and this cleaner helps me keep my windows clean with minimal effort. I also use it on windows, mirrors, lamp globes, and TV screens all over the house! In addition, we have a black glass cooktop. It's the best cleaner in the house, and it works better than any other. I'm sure I'll come up with more applications than the ones I've listed here. This Meguiar's Glass Cleaner meets all of my expectations. I'll never buy anything that's already been packaged. Glass cleaner from the bottle was mixed once more. Oh, and it has a wonderful scent. I've also noticed that after cleaning the sliding glass door, it has kept the dogs away. It's fine with me if they don't like the way it smells. It keeps their smudgy noses off the glass, which is always a good thing.
