I'M EXTREMELY CONFIDENT.
It can withstand temperatures as high as 640 degrees Fahrenheit. I've used it on multiple vehicles' exhaust systems and have never had a problem.
Yes, it will darken it. The stainless flakes in the paint help protect the metal it's applied to from corrosion and help it bond to it well, but it's still paint.
To get the best results, coat the impellet, clean it thoroughly, glass bead it, or sandblast it. I'm not sure what you're attempting to achieve.

This is incredible stuff. The outcome was fantastic, and it's surprisingly long-lasting. Do yourself a favor and try it. Read the instructions carefully and take your time to properly prepare everything; it will pay off in the end! For some of my larger projects, I'd like to try the gallon size next.
Begin by acclimating the paint in a heated shop at 75°F. It appeared bad from the beginning, with more droplets than spray. It stopped working after less than a minute, as if clogged, so I stopped and tried again. The can burst right where the nozzle was supposed to go when spraying. I'm sure it's just a bad can, but Amazon refuses to return or replace flammables while shipping it without issue.
After only a few uses, the spray can nozzle begins to gum up. It doesn't matter how good a product is if you can't get it to spray evenly and smoothly. I discovered that to keep the nozzle clear, I needed to remove it after each use and soak it in MEk. Holding the can upside down after spraying and spraying the propellant through it to clear paint from the nozzle did not work very well.
My only gripe is the price; however, once I've had some time with the paint and seen how it weathers, I may upgrade to a 5-star rating.
Unfortunately, after only a few minutes of use, the top spray part popped off. I'm not a particularly aggressive person, and the can is nearly full. . . which is unfortunate, given that the contents oozed out as soon as the cap popped off.
Welds- It's also fantastic!.
