The wood will not be damaged if it is smooth and can be removed.
You can only get it to go around curves using a heat gun. It will go in every direction.

There are a lot of layers to it.
The product is outstanding. I can attest to this as someone who has done professional wallpapering and was able to easily adapt to tinting home windows without a problem. A simple curve-shaped pop-up should be placed in front of this Due to the lack of diamond plate on the trailer, the camper was kept from getting smashed against rocks. It has been a long time since I cursed like that. A close call! Almost lost the Even though I felt confident and was familiar with the process, I watched a ton of videos so that I would gain knowledge on how to apply. We mixed the correct solution and applied it liberally, but the bubbles kept coming up because the solution dried too fast. Video footage shows a lot more rapid acceleration than reality. Even though it was 90 degrees outside, I kept dousing the fire with huge quantities of solution while I was safely in a garage. There is some evidence that the more tiny ones are disappearing in the direct heat and especially when pressed with a finger. The cutting process. I hate it. There's no doubt about it. This stuff is tough. Normally, I would only use one blade per year. The attempt to cut nicely with a straight edge did not go as planned. The edge of the fiberglass was carved so I had to grab scissors to avoid cutting it. I got the best advice from videos, even though it wasn't the prettiest result. Despite its strength, it is still a workable material when displaying I was able to save that piece when it wrinkled and glued to itself during my attempt to get behind the propane tank by using that advice. In the end, after I flattened it back out on the long table with patience and tons of solution, I had to get a second person to help me put the whole piece on. In that way, I was able to slip it on easily, but I could not smooth it fast enough to get to the whole thing to smooth it in a satisfactory way. It's on, or isn't it? In fact, yes. It looks promising, but will it work? Without a doubt. Never in a million years. There will never be any. Would it not differ in an environment with a cooler ambient temperature? It is best to wait until the right time of the year to install it, but who has time to do so.
This product is fairly easy to use but you have to wet the application with a little Using only water is not enough. With the baby shampoo, you can increase lubrication many times over, which in turn allows you to adjust the fit of the film. Because this sheet is thick, you should use a sharp razor to cut it, otherwise it will tear if not cut correctly and leave a messy line. I used this sheet to cover the front bumper of my model 3. The sheet covers the entire bumper with trimming and stress relief cuts. I'll buy again when I have to replace it in the future because this was my first time applying it and I made a few.
It's great stuff I use it all the time. The parts need to be replaced on vehicles all the time, and in the hands of someone who knows what to do, it's easy and quick. If you stick to the straight areas, you'll be pretty safe. It is best to use wet application since dry application cannot be forgiven for any mistake, no matter how small. You can move it where you want to and get rid of the air easily by applying it wet. In my experience, 3M films are the best and unfortunately, like all 3M products, the price is not always the best in this area. Yes, they are more expensive, but you do get what you pay for in this case. After trying a few other popular film products, I ended up choosing 3M. It's a little pricey, but it's the best product. You should be able to make the hoods, mirrors, fenders, and door edges, since these are the easiest things to do on your own. The thing that gets really tricky is when you get into bumper covers, under door handles, and sometimes hoods or fenders depending on the shape of the car. When you average out the costs per foot, you're getting a great deal for this size roll.
The surface should be even or level, especially if it is uneven. My attempt to put this on a bumper for a model three failed. Even with a hot hairdryer, the edges crinkled up, making it impossible to shrink them enough for them to After ripping off and throwing away the whole thing, I threw it into the trash. This is my second time around It will take me a few days to get a 1' x 4' in and I hope it will install without a hitch. All the steps were done correctly, and the right solution was used. It is even possible to burn out wrinkles on the material that won't shrink enough by using a torch. You should not try this unless you are an experienced person otherwise you will waste your money.
I opened the carton (no damage) and found a dime sized hole in the vinyl and some strange residue on the top of it. Six inches by six inches are now thrown away.
Here's what the real deal is all about. The good stuff is not cheap. I like the thickness of the tape and how easy it is.
