I was able to modify one of the other patterns to fit the back doors with the help of a pair of scissors.
Yes, the patterns are universal. Some vehicles may require modification, but this is simple to accomplish with a pair of scissors. Dry fit the patterns before installing them to ensure that they fit as desired.
The computer-cut patterns for the 2019 Sonata are available, but the kit must be purchased separately at https: //amzn. You'll be able to enter your vehicle information during checkout at to/2ROPv5ybr>

We recently purchased a new car, and the dealer tried to sell us a protection package that included these for nearly $2000. My wife really wanted it, but I couldn't justify spending so much money on it. I've had to rent cars for work, so I understand the importance of these clear films. Later, I called a few independent body shops for a quote and was told that a full package would cost $900, which was still more than I wanted to pay. I looked on Amazon and found that generic kits cost between $20 and $50. 30 dollars, with a full-body custom kit costing between $250 and $350. 300, so it appeared to be a relatively simple DIY project after watching some YouTube videos. br>I ordered this product, and it took me about 40 minutes to finish all four doors. The majority of that time was spent figuring out how to do the first one, but the other three doors took only a few minutes to complete. I will say that the small spray bottle of soapy fluid that they provide is useful, if a little fiddly to use because the siphon tube is almost three times longer than the bottle, so it was curled up inside and not sucking anything up. After a quick trim with a pair of scissors, everything was back to normal. And I can't say I'm unhappy with the food. I was able to save $1900.
For a 2017 MDX, the following items were purchased: I was hesitant to install this (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e , if I made a mistake and scratched the paint). Before you do anything else, take a look at their video. Second, they give you alcohol wipes and a cleaning/adhesive fluid spray. Third, take a look at the video they've created. Just take a look at the application's principles. Third, take off your wedding ring as well as any other jewelry you may have on your fingers. Finally, I used a microfiber cloth that had never been used before. I figured now would be a good time to do so, since I had just gotten my car washed at a local carwash. After all of this, it was relatively simple to accomplish, particularly after the initial application. I sprayed a liberal amount of the solution on the car and the adhesive side of the protector, lined it up, made contact from the center, then dabbed my way outward, then squeezed the liquid out (center to out) with the microfiber cloth, which was absorbed by the cloth. The cloth was used to "wipe out" any small bubbles. I wish I had known about this product when I first purchased my vehicle. In any case, the investment is well worth it.
For my 2018 Odyssey, I purchased a set of door cups. It doesn't cover 100% of the area but enough to provide you with fingernail protection. It was extremely simple to set up. 4 alcohol swabs are included, as well as an alcohol/water spray bottle. It's as simple as squeezing out the air bubbles. br>br>On my 2019 Pilot, the film spills out of the cup just a tad. I had the option of trimming it, but I didn't want to risk making it uneven. It doesn't make a huge difference. Only drawback: br>br> 2x the size of the spray bottle to allow for more spraying.
Great product, but no spray bottle with water and alcohol solution is included in the package. I got away with using a spray bottle filled with water that I had lying around the house. Before starting the installation, make sure to spray your fingertip as well. Make sure you stick to the technique of starting horizontally in the middle and spreading vertically and outward while pressing firmly with the entire length of your finger.
The only issue I have with this product is that it comes with a total of (6) door guards. They come in pairs, so you'll have different door protectors on the front and back of your car. This will have no effect on the total, but it may have an impact on others, so I decided to include it in my review. I suppose you could order two packages to get around this. The directions are simple and straightforward. You can't see the protectors if you're standing more than 3 feet away. My vehicle, on which they were installed, is a bright white vehicle.
worst-case scenario I gave it two stars instead of one because it might work if you apply it to a completely flat surface. br>This item is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the amount of protection (area) it provides. It's important that you don't muck it up! br>I did exactly what was asked of me. Some parts of the strip adhered well, while others did not, particularly near the edges and corners. I'm not sure if there was too much liquid, but I waited the recommended amount of time and still did not stick to the bumper. I had to cut it short (half of the 4 in) and only got the edge, not the edge closest to the trunk door rubber, so I didn't get full protection. br>Be prepared to buy baby shampoo, distilled water, and a spray bottle if the liquid provided is insufficient. This will increase your overall cost, and don't wait until the middle of the process to realize you need more liquid. br>Overall, my experience with this product and installation was negative. It might work if you have a flat surface, but it might not if the adhesive didn't stick as well as it did in my case.
It's important to keep in mind the following: Because of the curvature, the majority of the cups will only fit with the extreme X design. Even after sizing up to cup placement first, I tried and failed with the other design included; it's also crucial not to install these in a hot environment. Before you can install it, the adhesives will dry and curl quickly, so you'll have to work quickly or it won't sit right. Overall, it's fine; my only complaint is that there aren't enough "X" designs to make one car (only two of these templates are included). Although the video tutorial was useful, it lacked clear instructions.
