Once a year, I sprayed regular CorrosionX on my sister's car and the starter battery on my (saltwater) sailboat to completely stop corrosion. Both had a history of corrosion at the battery terminals, and CorrosionX HD would last at least that long. This problem can be completely solved with either of the CorrosionX products.
Nothing works better than shopping around. You can do a whole truck with four cans and about 45 minutes. You can't just powerwash this stuff off; everything else I've tried, and there have been dozens of them, has failed.
I use this product on an old "yard art" tractor in my yard, removing the spark plugs every now and then and spraying the product into the cylinder heads to keep the engine turning freely. When I got the tractor, the engine was free turning, so I'm not sure if it will free up an already-free turning engine. rusted engine; the extent of the rust is likely to be determined by the thickness of the rust.
Yes, it is possible. It will also last far longer than lighter weight lubricants. I use it on my garage doors, regular door hinges, and even sliding door rollers, and it works beautifully.

Wear goggles, full coveralls, a hat, and gloves if you're going to be outside. After that, get it over with. This is a far superior product to the fluid film I previously used. When I got some spray glue on my driveway, my 3100 psi power washer couldn't get rid of it. That is a PROVEN FACT! This stuff is the real deal, I sprayed it all over my 2002 Tundra's undercarriage. It's also a great way to loosen rusted bolts if you use the thinner (red) can. I sprayed my zero turn, lawn cart, power washer, compressor, and anything else that rusts due to humidity, including my backhoe. If your roads are salted like those in the northeast, this is the best thing to use!.
This stuff is sprayed all over my quad's underbelly. It's fantastic; for the next year, I won't have to worry about it. The product penetrates all of the cracks and prevents corrosion. I'm in ecstasy right now. br>br>It's "messy," to put it that way. Make sure you have cardboard underneath it when you spray it on something, in this case my four-wheeler underbelly, because excess tends to drip. It bubbles a little and becomes more viscous after it's been sprayed. It turns into a transparent yellowish hazed oily residue after a day or two. It has the appearance of old oil polyurethane.
This is absolutely amazing. I sprayed this on a brand new circuit board for a radio controlled boat, an ESC, or electronic speed controller. I was concerned, but it works, and I sprayed a brand new Traxxas steering servo on top of it. I was concerned as well, but it functions flawlessly. I strongly suggest this product for any electronics that will be used near or in water.
I've been soaking all of the undercarriage parts, as well as the red can version, for over a month in preparation for a lift on my Jeep Cherokee. Today I hit a couple of nuts with the impact, ones that usually break on these 30 year old XJ Jeeps, and they came right out. This product is not to be taken lightly. br>In the better areas, which I only hit once with this product over a month ago, the visibility is still there, despite the fact that I've gone through the car wash at least four times. This is incredible work. It's an investment, but it's well worth it.
I'm a big fan of the classic Corrosion-themed games. I had to try the "HD" version of X, which I've been using for years and love. Every claim on the can is correct. The first thing I noticed was that HD is significantly thicker than SD. The color and consistency of foaming maple syrup are similar to that of the classic. It appeared to be more difficult to apply than its much thinner counterpart at first, but the foaming action appears to allow ample, if not superior, penetration. br>br>When I spray it on old parts, it's as if the rust just melts away, and they look like they did when they were brand new. Everything made of iron seems to crumble away in a matter of months where I live on the coast. It's been five years since I lubricated my bike. All of the key components were given a fresh coat of HD today. After taking it for a spin, I had to wonder if I'd ever lubricate it again. That's how confident I am in the security afforded by this HD version.
First and foremost, let me state that I am very familiar with Corrosion X, having purchased it from a local store several times for various purposes. However, since I was no longer in that area, I had no choice but to look for an online distributor. You can imagine my excitement as I await the arrival of my new Heavy Duty Corrosion X. Unfortunately, no advice on how to use the produce was given to me. Normally, I wouldn't complain about such a problem, but since Corrosion X is supposed to be a higher-end product, one might expect at least the same level of "quality control" when comparing it to similar products on the market. Furthermore, I'm not sure if this canister was completely filled when it arrived. As I previously stated, I have previously purchased both the HD and original versions of Corrosion X, the latter of which appeared to be more "full. " Let's hope the vendor values his or her clients. Hopefully, we will be able to solve this problem.
Corrosion is a natural process that occurs when metals corrode. X Heavy- I think I found what I was looking for in duty liquid. I say "seems to be" because I don't know how long the protection will last; I used it on one rusted outdoor decorative item, which appears to be protected so far. The value of the product will be determined over time. br>One aspect of the spray nozzle that I dislike is how it operates. Instead of a mist spray, the liquid gushes out in a torrent, necessitating extreme caution to avoid spraying out too much. A very short spray burst will cover a part with enough liquid, but I lack the skill to have that spray burst cover the entire surface. I applied the liquid evenly across the entire surface with a utility brush.
Rust and corrosion resistance appear to be excellent in this product. Because it has only been a few weeks since it was applied, the durability of the product is unknown. For a small can, it's pricey, but if it works as advertised, it'll be well worth it.
