Questions & Answers

Where can I find it? How should I use it?

As soon as you fill up your gas tank, you pour the entire bottle in. Following that, be sure to top off your vehicle with gas so that everything is well mixed. Once you have done so, you can drive normally.

What happens if I put it ?

The type of fuel you use on your boat may not be the same as that which we use in our cars, but if it's the same as what we use in our cars, you'll be fine. Make sure you do the proper mixes for small engines, as you will need to do special mixes for them.

How do I clean my injectors with smoke and How does Xenium compare to other brands?

It has been awhile since I've used those two.

If you use cleaner, how often should you do so?

Although I am not the best person to answer your question (my car isn't driven for days), I am a good source for details about how they work. It is my routine to use the STP once per month I have a six-month contract This freshened the fuel and cleaned the lines, so I felt it was worth it.

A cleaner and stabilizer that goes beyond keeping your fuel system clean
5/5

I bought a fuel injector cleaner as my very first product from STP. In my life, I had never used any kind of fuel additive so I decided to give it a try. But as I read the description, I was intrigued. I wished there had been more to it, so I turned to this product. In the future I plan to use this STP ultra after I change my oil. My check engine light came on in the middle of the week as I drove home. A code of P0399 was displayed. My check engine light has been on for a few days now and I looked it up. It seems the crank position sensor is the problem. Furthermore, there was the code P0420 as well. CataClean is a cleaner for catalytic converters and I bought it at Autozone to clean mine. Towards the end of the week, I finally got my oil changed. Using the bottle when the gas tank is half full is the recommended method. A full tank of gas is in my car. In the afternoon, I decided to pour this stuff into my gas tank. After I noticed the check engine light suddenly went off on the dashboard, it took me a while to realize what had happened. This is amazing! I was in awe as soon as I saw it! There had probably been some nasty build-up in my car that had caused those error codes to be displayed. We were able to drive pretty smoothly. It really did turn off the engine light. The MPG I'm not sure about, but it did indeed turn off the engine light. The excitement in my heart couldn't be contained. As of now, all I am wondering is how long will it stay thought this product ought to be used at least once a week, but it does not say when it needs to be used. It is usually recommended that you change your oil every five thousand miles. Anyhow, I will buy this again in the future. The second one I bought was for my father since he complained about his car wasting a lot of gas on The following update (9/10/18) has been made I've driven the car for a while now and was really happy to see that the check engine light did not come on! There is no doubt in my mind that this product is outstanding.

This is the first time I have used it - The update is The 2013 F150 5 is a new model

There are no error codes, no rough running, poor mileage, and dealer can't figure it out. Dealer suggested running three tanks with Techron, but no change was made. After I added this as a last resort, I got my MPG back up to 14 miles from 11 MPG. I'm having some issues with rough running and slight miss-handling There is fire in the bottle. I will try a different Is working as it should. A quick update. I am almost done with the first tank, and the MPG has risen back up from 11 to I had 14 in my first 50 pages It is 100 miles to the west. It is almost time for the tank to be completed since the MPG is now 15 percent. I think it is an Prior to now, we would only get 16 It has gone from a low of 17 around town to low of 17. I'm going to do a second tank to see if it can go As per the advice of the service writer at the dealer, I am trying to fix a problem that causes me to shudder at 45 mph, and he seems to think that fuel is maybe to blame. Currently, he is probably correct. The fan runs stronger than ever, and there is only an occasional shudder. It is thought that during the lock down for the China Virus, a great deal of bad fuel was spread around this portion of Florida 68 days is enough time for the fuel to become foul. UPDATED - A full tank of the first tank has been completed. A mistake There is no longer any fire and no bogging when you accelerate. I'm sorry to see Peppy go. A second tankful is being tried. It was all my fault. I did not tell my wife that I put 8OZ in her Honda SI. Because it is running like new again, and around town MPH is back up to 25 miles per hour, she asked if anything was done.

I used my turbo to get the job done
5/5

It had been happening for over a year that my Subaru Forester XT was experiencing hesitation and unsteady acceleration. It depends on how you turn it on. A dealer told me to take it for a 20 mile drive on the freeway, but it didn't work. We would experience jerky acceleration from time to time. I simply put one bottle of STP Fuel System Cleaner in my 16 gallon gas tank and the problem was almost instantly solved. I added another bottle a few months later. Despite using it for more than 6 months without any incidents of jerky acceleration, I have not experienced any issues. There are almost times when you'll think you're getting more horsepower thanks to the smooth acceleration! Has done what it has said it would Approximately every six months, I'll add it to this page.

This works for me, I guess

The solvent really made the truck run better and more responsive the idle has become smoother. It was skeptical that it would make a difference in the truck. Despite filling up with regular pump gas, the truck still continues to run rough after running on premium, but after filling up with regular pump gas, it runs better and seems to get better gas.

I think taking preventative maintenance steps is a good idea
4/5

So, what do we have to say here? You may need to get this done if you have issues with the way your car runs. If you encounter issues with the way the car runs, there may be something more wrong with the vehicle than just an engine build. However, since you probably don't want to put crappy gas into your tank every few weeks, you should run this in the tank every few weeks As part of preventative maintenance, we should drive about a thousand miles a year. In the long run it may save you money (or give you a speedy warning for future repairs) because it is the equivalent of a couple gallons of gas, and it helps treat your fuel system to make it less likely that future costly repairs will be necessary. The good thing is that it's easy to use and probably improves your engine. The bad thing is, it's hard to prove a negative. It is usually the desire of people to use this on a regular basis so that.

Worked for me
5/5

There is a 2011 Subaru Outback 3 in my possession. There are 153k on this 6R. The plugs were supposed to be changed after 90k miles. This is not what I did. Approximately 60k extra miles caused a very poor combustion, giving the engine a pretty bad gunk up. In the end, I had my garage change the plugs to NGK Iridium tips and then put two bottles of this into my tank and filled it with Chevron Supreme 91-octane I filled up a second bottle of STP Ultimate and a second fill up of Chevron 91 once I reached 1/4 tank. It improved within a few miles of consuming the first bottle.

It improved again after the third bottle. With a partial throttle opening, the idle became smoother, the response became stronger and more smooth, and there was less lag with a larger throttle opening. Thus, the impression of regained strength and smoothness was created. In the timeline above, things got better as we moved further in time. Thanks to the better-burning engine, I'm now getting better MPG and a much quieter engine. And it's going to continue that way because the better-burning engine should be starting cleaner. It's better than Brand new Iridium plugs. Highly recommended.
