Questions & Answers

Can you tell me the area covered by one ?

As far as square footage is concerned, I am unable to provide an estimate. Nevertheless, it is required to apply two coats of a 14 oz can of paint to a Honda 450R 4 wheeler frame.

Do you think I can use this on utensils for serving food?

The equipment is approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

What are the possibilities of painting over this stuff? In general, I just want to know if it will resist corrosion. A specific color is needed for the finished product. ?

There's little doubt in my mind.

the engine parts that heat up be handled by the service?

It is heat resistant up to 640 degrees. This product has never failed me when running on my exhaust for multiple vehicles.

Now is the time to buy! A black Steel It coating was applied to my front bumper and a few quarter panels on my rear
5/5

I am in awe of this stuff. I was pleasantly surprised by the results and how durable it is. Don't forget to do a favor for yourself. Make sure you follow the directions and prepare your ingredients properly - this will pay off in the long run! I'd love to try out the gallon size next for some bigger projects I have in mind.

I noticed spots after spraying, didn't spray smooth
3/5

Rock sliders I make are made out of steel. Powder coating costs less than getting them painted , but I wanted to give them a finishing touch It didn't go quite as smoothly as I had hoped, although it was a good description and review of the product. As per the instructions, you want your first coat to be heavy, but not too heavy that it dries. In doing so, the paint spit and left excess spots of paint on the wall, as you can see from I'm not certain whether the cost of this is worth it if the project turns out to be a mess. As soon as I figure out if it does what it claims, I will update my review. However, I am not satisfied with it from a cosmetic standpoint.

I didn't find it to be worth the money
3/5

This item is on the WAY OVERPRICED side. You can get a paint can that works just as well but for much less money. Before I used it, I did not know that. Since I used another can under $10 and got the same results, I knew it to be true. A sleight of hand by the NAME and the marketing words fooled me.

The only drawback I found with this paint was the cost
4/5

I purchased this paint because it was welding compatible and based on a review that it sealed against rust well. I will say that it coats very well and welding over it is easy. I would have given 5 stars if not for the price. I would probably upgrade to 5 stars after time has passed and I have seen how it weathers.

Generally, the spray can has a good track record
3/5

When a spray can nozzle is used very little, it tends to gum up. Regardless of how good the product is, it is of no use if it does not spray smooth and even. After I used it, I found I had to remove the nozzle and soak it in MEk to keep it clean. When holding the spray can upside down after spraying and spraying propellant through it to clear paint out of the nozzle, the paint does not seem to be cleared.

This stuff is the best of the best
5/5

Steel is a new experience for someone who has never used it before It's a great idea. You should start now. The spray goes on very well. All you have to do is follow instructions and prep your material correctly. Wear a proper respirator when handling it, as it smells like real cancer. It is not only weld through, but it also has incredible durability when fully cured after about five days The week is seven days long. This is a popular choice among race teams and fabricators for trophy trucks and custom work.

Here is a picture of painted metal compared with If you want to see how this looks compared to stainless steel, here is a picture of the closest I had at the time
5/5

If you want to look closely, the screws holding the plate to the door are stainless steel. The results are great, the product is easy to use, and the results are great.

On a few projects I have going on with my truck, I have used this kit. This product works excellently and sprays out quite well. It looks and acts exactly like a In addition to buying the black paint, I intend to spray it on my trailer hitch after any rust has been removed.
