Questions & Answers

Is one can enough to cover an area of one square foot?

There is no way for me to specify how many square feet my coverage covers. There is not enough paint in two 14oz cans to cover the frame of a Honda 450R 4 wheeler.

This can be used on serving utensils for food?

It is approved by the FDA for use with food.

Paint can be used to cover this stuff up? Corrosion resistance is the main thing I'm interested in. There is a specific color I need for the finished product. ?

There's no doubt in my mind.

Are you willing to work with heated part of an engine?

You can use it in temperatures up to 640°F. have used it on multiple exhaust systems of multiple vehicles, and I have not had a problem.

Now is the time to buy! The Steel It black will be applied to my front bumper and some rear quarter panels
5/5

I am blown away by this stuff. We had phenomenal results, and it was surprising how durable it was. Please take a moment to do something for yourself. Taking your time to prep everything properly will pay off! Read the directions carefully and take your time! In the future, I'd really like to try the gallon size for some bigger projects I have planned!.

Spots were left since the spray wasn't smooth
3/5

The rock sliders I make are made of steel. If I was going to get them powder coated, it would have cost me less, but I wanted something I could do myself. liked the description and review of the product, but the process did not go as smoothly as I would have liked. It's said that to build up your first coat you should make it heavy, but not too heavy that it runs. I took some pictures of what happened while I was doing that, as you can see in the pictures, the paint would spit and leave excess spots. Because of this, I am not convinced that this method is worth the cost if your project turns out poorly. In a few weeks, I will update my review to see if it holds up to what it advertises. On the other hand, I am not happy with how it looks.

NO WAY is it worth the money
3/5

This is far too expensive compared to similar paint cans you can get for much less. It was just that I was unaware of that until I used it and got another can for under $10 with the The name of the company and the clever marketing lingo tripped me up.

A good paint at an affordable price
4/5

I chose this paint due to the fact that it can be welded over and with a review about how well it will protect from rust. I will say that it coats well, and welding over it works without causing any issues. Having had the paint for a little while and seeing how it weathers, I might upgrade to 5 stars after using it for a while.

The spray can is reliable
3/5

I'm having trouble with the nozzle on my spray can gumming up after a short time. You cannot get it to spray smooth and even when it is good if you cannot get it to spray smooth. Each time I used the nozzle, I had to remove it and soak it in MEk to keep it crystal We sprayed the propellant through the nozzle, then turned the can upside down to clear paint out of the nozzle and it did not clear the paint.

I've never seen anything like it
5/5

You should never use steel if you have never done so It is amazing. You must get started. It works really well as long as you follow the instructions and prepare the material appropriately. There is an actual smell of cancer around here, so you should wear a mask. This material is not only weld through, but also has a very long lifespan once fully cured after about five months The week is seven days long. The reason race teams and fabricators use this on trophy trucks and custom work is because it is so effective!.

The difference between painted and stainless screws is shown in the image
5/5

As an example of how this looks compared to stainless steel, here is the best I could do with the materials at the time I had them. You can see that the screws holding the plate on the door are stainless steel. The product is great, easy to use, and delivers results I am very pleased with.

A very good paint job
5/5

My truck has been undergoing some work on it. I used this on those projects. It seems like a regular spray gun in the sense that it works well and sprays quite well. Besides the black, I also bought the black metal hitch paint and intend to spray it after removing all rust from the hitch.
