Under the whole body of my Ram 2500, a can coated the whole thing
As black is black, so is the Butterscotch is the color of the red (original).
Spraying it in the engine bay would cause a mess because it would drip down onto the header and block and create an unpleasant smell and drip off the exhaust header.

My expectation was for it to dry quickly like an undercoat on a car. Metals and wood that are porous and will be wet a lot also benefit from the formula. Provides good protection against the elements and soaks in well. It's a different application than my expectations, but does a good job when it comes to the purpose for which it is intended. What a great idea!.
I am very pleased with how the project turned out. Additionally, I'm going to use it for the underside of my Jeep. The spray is easy to apply and does not get messy like many other reviewers have claimed. There was no need for tarps, none were soiled by rain. I put down tarps and no marks appeared on them.
As well as Woolwax, I also purchased Fluid Film at the same time. Initially, I started with Woolwax then moved on to Despite the heavy rain, the Woolwax stayed on the chassis and did not drip off. At the areas where Fluid Film was used, it dripped off on the ground in many places. A lot of the Fluid Film was watery, but Woolwax was thicker and remained on the chassis for many hours.
It is yet to be seen how well the coating holds up under service. I used this product to coat the suspension and frame components of my nearly 20-year-old There are some components that are rusty to the point of flaking, with some components rusting to the point of rusting. The loose rust and flakes were removed before the coating was applied. Despite a few small imperfections, the product adhered fairly well to the parts. It is important that the film is applied thickly to give the rusty metal the black color.
Providing complete coverage for the underside of my vehicle proved to be very successful.
The smell is horrible, but the product works well. There have been a few months since I cleaned out my garage, but I still smell it. The woolwax I prefer is the better one.
It has been recommended to me by a friend. This product holds up really well for a long time it doesn't flake off. My second truck is going to be this way.
The black stuff sticks like glue on the frame and does a good job.
