A deal like this at $2 each is hard to beat. Inducer motors seem to be well suited to it.
It was well made and the price was good. We used this in place of the cork gasket on our valve cover. The cork gasket actually works better than this one.
I love it.
That is exactly how it is.
As part of a Jeep JKU 2017, I reapplied High Temp Red to plastic or nylon cable tie mounting pads that are mounted in the engine bay to the metal inner fenders in order to hold wiring that was added. It was a sticky 2 sided tape that came loose after repeated heat and vibration cycles in the engine bay. After that, I applied the High Temp Red pads again. Follow the link to find out what I found. There is no point in doing so To secure DC wires that I added to power a HAM radio in the cab, I installed the pads under the hood in the engine bay near the battery holder. The following is a translation from the German language It was found that alcohol is recommended for cleaning, as it is advised in the instructions, for the new tape to adhere to the metal fender and the pad. The following is a translation from the German language applying the High Temp silicon layer to the pad, I let them sit for 10 minutes to allow the silicon to fully dry, again according to In order to allow the silicon to adhere, this step will allow the silicon to build some initial tack. This is the picture (see below) My initial attempt at attaching the pads to the fender was not successful, and once the pad was installed the pad would not stay in place unless you temporarily taped it The grip would have been better if the initial cure time had been longer. The following is a translation from the German language My single-use pads were very secure once they had cured overnight and I couldn't easily pull them up with my hands, so this looks like a good solution to me. The following is a translation from the German language With many days of cold weather and driving the Jeep well enough to get the engine just warm enough, the Versachem 65309 still holds in place well after many days of cold weather. Thanks a lot for your help. * * *Conclusion If the initial tack is poor but after cure the adhesion is good, you may need to clamp the part to hold it.
