It worked perfectly as a thin layer of gasket sealant on a 12 valve Cummins Timing cover. However, you must work quickly because the tooling time is only half an hour, and the skin begins to peel after only a few minutes.

This is, without a doubt, the best high-temperature gasket maker on the market. Only if the metal parts appear to fit together evenly should they be used on larger gaps. A cardboard gasket is recommended in all other cases.
