Not at all! If A/C Stop Leak doesn't solve the problem, you will need to use a special sealer for A/C leaks that also contains a dye to detect where the leak is.
Temperature did not change as a result. I was able to use it. SO WHAT DO YOU THINK
Using the drain, drain out some of it- Make a hole at the bottom of the radiator, or use a turkey baster to remove some from there.

I don't think it is necessary to say more. It was a recommendation that led me to purchase this. The radiator seals on a 2006 Jeep, which has over 200 miles on it, are worn out. This stuff is new to my system, so I bought it. During the first 24 hours of the cooldown, the cooling system puked fluid. Not very hopeful, to be honest! I drove it to work with a lot of coolant left over. I have not had a single leak during that time. As far as cooling system flow is concerned, I have not encountered any issues. It is not the first time I have used this product. All three steps of the process will be applied to my other vehicles that run, but, only I was very impressed with this product. In a couple minutes, I was able to seal a leak. It took a couple of days to drive to the final seal. It was the seals between the vinyl/metal parts that Chrysler (Mercedes) has chosen to use on the radiator that were leaking. In my opinion, engineers ought to be able to understand how cars work, and to experience end-user issues firsthand. (FYI, I used to be an engineer, and I used to build cars in my spare time.
In my '68 Ford F 250, I used this on a small radiator leak and it got the job done right away My Passat's water pump leaked around the water pump and I tried this and it didn't work. There are no mechanics involved in it it is a good solution for a radiator leak, apparently The leak of a water pump can be found using the can. Update Click here to read the full text of the update. I started the truck for the second time after the treatment had stopped the leak from the radiator, and the leak appeared exactly where it had stopped. In addition to the leak, there was a small crack. It turns out that it is an extremely expensive temporary fix for a very minor leak. The product I received was a rip-off.
My problem was that it didn't solve my problem. A certified mechanic, I work on foreign and domestic vehicles. I was called in by a customer who had a small leak at the water pump on a 2000 Chevrolet As soon as he learned that it would cost $750 for the leak to be properly repaired, he saw the stop leaks and was considering trying them. In the Truck U, TV show, he saw this one and thought he would give it a listen. The instructions I followed did not prevent the leak from leaking. The car is a shame, because I think he probably just scrapped it because repairing it would have been too expensive and complicated. There was a tiny drip of a leak, so I thought this would fix it, but it didn't work.
In this case, I used it to prevent coolant from getting into the pitted sleeves of the cylinders. It has not worked very well at all for the first 5 hours. This was according to the instructions one bottle treats six As I had used 3 gallons, I used half a bottle. It didn't work, so I used the other half of the bottle and ran for 5 hours. I may have made an improvement but I believe the block needs to be properly reconstructed.
There will always be a hit or miss outcome with such a project. One of the foul balls was nicked. In this case, it slowed the leak but failed to stop it. The bottom-left corner- A slow leak was caused by it. You might have better luck if you try it yourself.
I can say with certainty that this stuff Generally speaking, I am skeptical of additives, so when I heard about this product, I really was not expecting the results I achieved. The outcome proved me wrong, just as I had been hoping. A small leak of antifreeze appeared on my 2002 for Taurus in which I could not even find the source. The leak on the floor of the garage kept showing up after I changed the water pump about six months ago. Although I power washed the motor and checked the mirrors etc. , I could not locate the underlying cause. There was a product I was told about, and I used it successfully. I was able to avoid pulling the water pump again because there are no leaks anymore. As a PS. A bolt that secures the pump may have sweated out, but this caused the leak. All hoses and clamps were found, so it is likely that one of those bolts was the culprit.
I have had a few coolant leaks in my old van, and decided to try the product. I have not had any leaks or problems for about 6 months now.
Is what it claims to be. My motorcycle was repaired after a leak was found. We still need to drive a few more miles to be sure. I am so far pleased with the results.
