I have been an optician for more than 30 years and sadly have not found anything that will work short of a 2 part epoxy/resin. The only exception is This is only temporary. There is no limit to the number of times it can be used. Having bought a tube from Amazon on January 2018, I used about half of it at that time. One part of the remaining dough was used to fill in some drill holes on some wood furniture I was repairing in February 2021. Thus, I was able to get a 3 You can use it for at least a year. Have you ever seen a cracked plastic air valve on one of the big inflatable boat tubes? Many thanks for your help. ?

I think that is an excellent If a repair was being done at the wrong location, I suspect it would differ. Curing of the weld material will result in a rigid end product. This has been proven to be true in many cases. The repair would likely hold if the repair area remained oriented on a one-dimensional plane. It seems you would be asking a great deal of the weld if the repair area is subject to repeated flexing on one or more axes. You're going to have a lot of fun fixing it!

Resulted in mixed results, but when all is said and done, we were glad we bought it
4/5

A car has plastic panels that have cracked or missing tab sockets, so I am using this to repair them. My experience with this plastic is that it is useful for shaping thicker missing parts (like the entire tab socket) but seems almost worthless for a strengthening a previously existing tab socket. Despite its thinness, I could not use this material in my work. When I decided to replace the missing material, however, epoxy proved disastrous. Epoxy has a great effect on strengthening the hole, but not on replacing the missing I would like to use this plastic to replace all the missing components, then epoxy to reinforce it and prevent cracks from forming, and I will have a Both were necessary to me! My favorite part of this material is that it can be sanded, and it is My epoxy of choice is Gorilla 2 Part Epoxy (BTW, I am using Gorilla Epoxy).

So far I have filled over 20 holes in my dashboard, pillar panels, and kick panels, but there are still a few In my auction truck that I bought about a year ago, I used this to fill equipment holes
5/5

Apparently, it was used by the police in Texas, where it left over 20 holes when all the lights, radios, and cameras were removed. It took me about 40 minutes to remove the trim lining and clean and fill all the holes with My next step was to sand them all and prepare them for painting the next day. Plastics and vinyl can be painted to match the original colors of the interior. Few manufacturers offer exact color match paint for plastics and vinyl. Having painted over the holes, you no longer know where they are. stuff easily sands and paints as well as being easy to sand This is a capability. Using this will be necessary in the near future for my next vehicle for police auctions.

The solution was not successful
3/5

Despite working the putty over and over, it did not harden and did not adhere. The company said to buy it again and clean the surface. When I contacted them to ask why it hadn't worked, they suggested I purchase it again and follow the directions. The surface of the table had been cleaned, however. If it was good for soft plastic, then it wouldn't have been good for hard plastic. If you had to work the putty for 20 minutes, you might have to do so. It was necessary for me to find out what needed to be done differently to repurchase. It would be like throwing good money after bad if another purchase was made.

Maintains a degree of flexibility despite adhering well
5/5

There's no question that this putty is a lot harder than SteelStik (the dark gray putty by JB Weld), but it is extremely While repairing the handle of a steam mop, I discovered it was ABS (thanks to the >description. On it is the ABS logo I am not), and so I glued the edges with the black ABS pipe cement that I had on hand. As strong as it used to be, it had a break inside, which was made stronger when I used some putty to build up the interior of the handle around it. Additionally I put some putty on the (slick) inside of a piece of ABS pipe I had in the garage (which I wiped off with my finger), and this stuff actually sticks to it. Later, I did manage to pull it off, but only because the putty was not fully cured and broke, leaving parts of it stuck on the inside of the pipe. Since I cleaned the inside of the handle and applied the putty more carefully, it should break somewhere else next time. I would like to point out that There is a pencil-shaped item in the package I have a 'sized' bit of putty that has been curing at least two days that is a bit flexible. Despite being doubled over, it didn't break by its own weight it took considerable force to break A similar pencil of the Steel-brand costs almost as much Putting up with the putty, which was hard as a stone at the time. There's no sign of a problem here I suspect it's a feature. It may help to provide some give in the handle to prevent it from breaking where the piece of built-up.

I used this on plastic bumpers and it worked well
5/5

I took a long time to figure it out! I know that repairing a plastic bumper can be tedious, but this seemed to work. The final result was a 7 out of 10, even after 3x rounds of apply / sand / shape. There were some air bubbles in my hair which were very irritating. As well, as opposed to Bondo, this is very difficult to form to the dent because you cannot simply scrape it flat and lightly sand it afterwards. It is as if a game is being played If you use Doh, you have to sand it. I like to play in the sand. I like to play in the sand. Furthermore, if you're prepared to do that and are looking for a permanent fix for a bumper, using this product is an excellent choice!.

It's truly fantastic stuff for a lot of As it can be molded into a wide variety of shapes, it's great
5/5

In comparison to traditional epoxy, the smell of it isn't as bad. You can also clean your hands very easily with this product. You work it like thick clay and it becomes more malleable as you do so. The product can be used for a wide range of things, not just RC models. As far as I am aware, it dries very well to plastics. There's a lot of work you can do to it, but you still have time to tweak it before it completely hardens. You can work it into the shape you want and it will hold it nicely, but it will soften before it fully hardens. It is not clear to me how much your consistency will depend on how much While it does not become rigid and brittle when dry, it retains some flexibility if you put a lot of pressure on it. I can see how this can be used for many different It is similar to silicone caulk, but it holds its shape until it dries, and it is harder to remove after it dries.

I was very satisfied with the results
5/5

I was very pleased with how it worked. As soon as it was set up, it was as solid as a rock and fit perfectly where it was necessary. The laptop was put together and tightened up and it has held up well ever since. It appears large in the attached image because it is so close and you can see each area is not even half the size of your thumb in each one. Please make sure that after you've mixed it well that you wipe off any excess that stuck to your fingers as, if you don't, it may be there for a while if you forget to do so. A damaged mounting point on a laptop was repaired with the help of this. I found it difficult to get all the putty in a small space, but once I got the first bit in place, all I had to do was keep Once the laptop parts are assembled, ensure the screws can be screwed into the mounting points. I readjusted the tiny screws based on the alignment (1 one was out of alignment). I reopened the laptop to make sure everything was working properly.
