Questions & Answers

When used with white pearl paint, how will it perform? In addition, if this process were used, would wash, clay, jet seal, white light, and butter wax be better? Thank you for your assistance. ?

Both my pearl white Jeep and my silver G35 had the same engine oil change sequence. Despite being new, the Jeep is 8 years old, while the G35 is only It came out beautifully for both. In and of itself, clay made a great deal of difference.

Would this one work for a yellow car? Or would I be better off with the black light?

Thanks a lot! If your vehicle is yellow, we recommend using White Light.

Compared to glossworkz glaze, how does this compare?

Glass Works is something I have not used yet, but I think it would be a nice product to use as everything from Chemical Guy seems to be great.

What if my car has been waxed within a few days? Is this still effective? Is this a one-time use product or do I need to wax again after using it?

It can be used, but I would strip off the old wax first and then polish. After that, apply whitelight to the surface. The next step would be to use Jetseal, followed by

This is a great booster for I have to give the product some credit, I did not expect much from it
5/5

The finish that I had was, in my opinion, pretty close to, if not the It was still a pleasant surprise to me. You are right, it makes the slippery surface a little more slippery. Initially, I noticed that the car appeared brighter as I worked. Toward the middle, however, I was beginning to notice that the metal flake was brighter than before. My platinum metallic tricolor is Platinum Metallic Tricolor The coating on a '16 SHO is the most brilliant I've ever seen. Another surprise was that there was a little spot on the spoiler that I had never been able to remove. The mark became her birthmark after I started calling it that. However, it washed away with water. As a bonus, it also enhanced the appearance of the painted rims. Due to the fact that the full car shot was taken before the sun came out, the flake was not as pronounced. However, you can see on the hood the wet looking shine. I will definitely add it to my daily.

You will be glad you bought it once you have used It disappointed me at first how basic and boring the Ford white was when I bought my Mustang
5/5

The paint looked very clean during the first wash, but it also appeared very plain due to the lack of metallic in it. Fortunately, I was able to find this white light at a great price and it definitely improves the look of the room! Adding this effect to the paint adds such depth and finally gives it a look of premium quality that The tan was relatively easy to remove after it dried, and I applied it in the midday sun. Then I sprayed on a coat of spray wax and was really pleased with the result. The money was totally worth it. It smells like birthday cake, did I mention that?.

I love it
5/5

I was amazed at what I saw. The two coats of paint I just applied to my Porsche Macan GTS are the second and third coat I applied. In actuality, the paint was in good shape but had a few Chem Guys Honeydew Snow Foam was used for the foam wash. Hand washing was completed with two buckets. Once that was done, I went over it with IronX and then started claying. I have just finished my first day. As of Day 2, I had finished the clay and polished it up two more times. In addition to the paint already looking good, this stuff really does create a deep, smooth, glossy In the final step, white wax is applied. There is also a white wax made by Chemical Guys that I know of as well. This will be my go-to service in the future.

When I emailed Chemical Guys about this route, they suggested it would be a good choice
5/5

Under a coat of Jet seal and then a coat of wax, I apply this product in two coats. When I emailed Chemical Guys about this route, they suggested it would be a good choice. My car gets complements on the way its paint looks so this stuff and my way of doing things must be working. What length of time this will last I have no idea. Despite my weekly washing schedule, I always consider applying sealants twice a year to ensure it is properly protected. If you're using this or any other sealant, make sure to wash your car with a degreaser and then clay the surface. It is also a bad idea to sealant wax over it.

Putting it on and taking it off is simple

I'm very pleased with the results! I tried CG Blacklight and was impressed with the results, so I decided to try In terms of results, they were comparable and the deep shine they give is impressive. As far as I've seen, Chemical Guys is a 50/50 company. I've tested at least a dozen or more of their products, and half of them are very overrated, whereas some of them are quite The result is a deep, wet shine that lasts for several hours topped by V07. The only con I can figure out about this is that while it is supposed to be a protective coating and make contaminants easier to clean off, I still found it to be inconvenient to clean There is no such thing! A gang of birds decided to do a drive-by on my hood and fender just 2 days after I had applied the product, so it took me 10x longer.

In a similar manner to glass That's so cool! I have no words for how amazing it is
5/5

The white 1972 Ford Ranger I own is from 1972. When I washed the car with Chemical's soap, then used a clay bar and magic sponge to polish it, it had a new shine. I liked the pop of white. There seemed to be a deeper meaning. My comparison of the shine after completing 1/2 of the hood was tremendously different. The white was much more brilliant. We even serviced my wife's Pontiac white Sunfire from 2001. No pictures, but it's a fact you can bank on. It looks wet when it is dry. The following is an adapted version of Roger.

Results were amazing, the museum showroom looks brand new and it was well worth the investment

As I describe these items or products, I also review my other products, as they are all part of why I finished the way I did. The products I use in my setup are Chemical Guys VSS*cPer Cquartz UK 3. Chemical Guys White Light*cPer Cquartz UK 3 A Torq X sanding machine with a white light spreading pad on the blue side and an orange pad for cutting. The following items were used Meguires Claybar 200g, Griot's Garage Iron Remover, Mother's Magnesium Polish, provided clothes (from chemical Guys), and the end result is what truly matters, so I did not take pictures of each step in this process. Throughout the process of painting, I inspected each step and was able to report on each one. With my findings, I will try to be as descriptive as possible so that my findings can help those who follow It is on a 2016 Summit White Camaro with 34,000 miles on it, which I purchased from the previous owner with 21,000 miles on it. Although I have detailing experience of about 3/4 years, it is not necessary to have the experience to achieve amazing results, only time for the original work. While the first owner did leave some surface scratches and swirls as a result of improper washing, it was only visible The complete process took me 9 hours. Including the curing and waiting periods, I spent all of my time on my process. Using three heaters, three heating units kept the temperature steady at 65 degrees overnight, so this work was done on a vehicle that had been stored overnight. 1

My standard soap setup was used for the washing of the vehicle. I do not believe that it had any effect on the end result since it was just a simple car shampoo with no additives and was pH Although it is cold in Chicago during the winter, I still wash my car weekly by using less The second one. Once all the surfaces of the vehicle had been treated with the iron remover, I proceeded to use very little agitation after the dwell time and then sprayed it off with a spray bottle of water and used a microfiber towel to wipe it off. 1.

3. In order to avoid introducing extra oils or substances to the finish, I claybarred the entire vehicle on every painted surface with regular water after it was dried. step, the paint was incredibly smooth and contaminant-free, as I meticulously worked over every single area on each body panel to ensure that every spot was touched up and repaired. As the preparation work when polishing and then ceramic coating was time consuming, it's all about "locking" all your hard work, but you also have to be careful because that final layer locks in all your imperfections if you're *4, *3. In order to ensure a sterile environment, I lightly wiped over the entire vehicle with some rubbing alcohol, and I was able to feel the paint less at this step than I had previously in order to keep it uncontaminated. This is 5. Using my polisher and VSS, I began to remove the scratches and swirls from my paint. You can find a lot of videos on YouTube at chemical Guys that explain how to make a cutting pad so I won't repeat that, but I used The machine worked well for me once I worked in small areas and took my time. I was able to work panel by panel and was satisfied with how little fatigue I experienced. I really thought I used it for 5 hours total and no idea I did, which I found very impressive. According to the instructions and wait time, I cancelled out the Polish and was left with an incredibly smooth surface that got rid of all the paint's imperfections. It was the longest of all the steps and was close to how long my clay service took, but I wanted to ensure there was no swirl left behind and spent a long time doing it. chair with wheels, or anything you use to sit, makes standing thousands of times easier than sitting for so long)*. 6. Up the Polish was followed by the WhiteLight and I found that with a little polisher, I could spread the glaze incredibly easily. The product uses far less than it would if you applied it by hand, and it spreads very thinly. I used speed setting two for this, applying the product with no pressure and only the weight of the machine. My breath caught when I touched the finish with the back of my hand and it felt like a mirror, cool to the touch, and quite. I thought it was a placebo effect that would make white cars pop, but I only realized it after pouring hours of time and energy into it. From the beginning of the day to the end of this step, two outsiders noticed a massive difference and compared this to a car in a museum showroom, and it was perfect. followed this up by applying my ceramic coating to the model, and this was also an extremely easy process with very fast flash time and very easy spreading where a little coating turned out to be very very very effective. My thin coats always had an even coat that I was always checking constantly under a bright light to make sure I wasn't stretching it too thin. I used hardly a quarter of the vile. Plastidip is a black coating I recently added to my painted black roof and rear section of my vehicle. After testing a small spot to see if I would react, I also applied the coating since it states it is pH neutral and safe for nearly everything. My initial impression was very positive. I noticed the plastidip had a very slick and glossy feel (I added 3/4 coats of gloss as I wanted the gloss level to match the OEM white) and the gloss was outstanding. Despite being the last step of the day for the paint, these pictures show when I was finished working on my vehicle the entire day. 8 I am. It was with mothers metal polish that I finished my last step and what a difference it made for my exhaust tips. Later, I cleaned my windows and interior, followed by my engine bay, and then I cleaned I finished the day with Meguirs Tire Gel and let the vehicle sit for as long as the time of day would allow before taking it out for a drive. As a whole, the combinations of products worked extremely well and each one could be used for painting both by itself and in combination with other favorite products. I provided these lists to help others as I would love to read in depth reviews for these topics and I am fascinated by the sheer volume of products available. It was a long day and I was just happy to drive home after. Therefore, the photos provided aren't the best as I don't know how to take quality photos and I wasn't in the mood for taking photos. In addition to the products I discussed, there are others I recommend as well. The most challenging thing is the preparation involved in getting all of the paint clean, and then having the time to complete the task. Considering it must be allowed to dry for 24 hours before it even comes in contact with water and that it is still curing over the next few days, I haven't tested its ceramic abilities, but it feels and looks incredible. My vehicle is beautiful and I love its look and feel. I would definitely recommend it.
