I don't think it matters much what color the car is. In order to determine how long it has been since you last clay barred the car, you must consider the amount of time since the last clay bar. Blue light clay bars can be used if you're within a year of when it occurred. It took over a year for the yellow to appear. A medium, then a black clay bar becomes the heavy duty over a period of two years. It's a good idea to use the medium or lighter clay bar before the black clay bar in order to avoid damaging the paint if you use the black clay bar.

The stomach pains are making me sick. The clay appears to be stuck with a thin piece of plastic, and you need to peel it off before you paint.
I am new to clay and haven't clayed one yet. I never use clay in my car wash routine - I have some gritty stuff on my hood that felt embedded into the paint or had been waxed over - so that was really disgusting to me. You couldn't run your fingers over the hood anymore without experiencing some kind of friction. Having watched their video, and with really low expectations, I purchased a medium duty clay kit from them. Clay kit used for washing the hood and preparing it for painting- I feel like a whole new person. We won't be waiting for an hour, we'll be there in This hood is brand new and looks like it just came off the assembly line. Almost baffled how it worked, it was so perfect. This is a fast and convenient way to order. I don't often write reviews, but this one was too good to pass up.
It has always been a good idea for me to scrub off bugs with cleaner wax and plenty of elbow grease and time. It works Having just gotten a white car (in December) and dealing with a harsh winter in the Midwest, I got a white car. The last time I washed my car, I discovered rust spots in the paint, all over. My mind spun out of control Their bodies were not touched by wax. In order to get the results I was looking for, I read up on clay bar and contacted a chemical company. I read that the medium was the best way to go, and I am not remorseful about it! I had my entire car (SUV) clay barred and waxed in 2 hours and took little effort to get rid of The smoothness of paint before waxing is the first time I have ever seen it. The stuff I'm getting is amazing! Below are photos of just one section of rust that I removed from my hood before and after.
I am happy with the product. As a practical matter, the biggest risk is when you drop the clay into the dirt, and then you have to throw it away because the directions say to do so. The reason for this is that now you may have sand in the clay that may scratch your Clay lube is soapy so it is slippy, and it is not hard to drop the clay bar. After that, break the bar in half and use 1/2 at a time. Hence, I advice you to form part of the bar into a ring around one of your fingers giving it a handle or to turn it into a handle with a handle on You should put a drop cloth or cardboard under you when you clean to prevent the clay from hitting the dirt. Chances are that you'll drop the bar about 75% of the time. Make sure you are If the car is too hot in the sun, then the bar may melt a bit and adhere to the car, so it will take some rubbing with the bar in order to remove the excess. Sunlight will increase the need for lube, so you will need to use twice as much. When your clay is pretty dirty, you might want to stick a knife into it and remove the dirty clay, rather than reintegrating it. The product is a top notch, quality product at a fair price. I used this on a brand new Tesla 3 before I applied a paint sealant to protect it.
You can buy products from Chemical Guys that are of high quality and affordable. The waxes and microfiber towels that they offer are my favorite products. It was my intention to get a feel for their clay bars with this kit, and I was I actually found the clay bar to last longer than the lube, thanks to its large size. A light clay bar is exactly what it's advertised to be Getting the gray bar is more appropriate if your car contains a high level of contamination. If you are new to clay barring, here are a few quick tips for you The following are the highlights of the first paragraph 1. You can polish or compound between clay and wax, but those are the two steps that are absolutely necessary. 2. These are the points to remember about this paragraph. Put a brand new Ziploc bag in your hand (or whatever brand of storage bag you have on hand) and run it slowly across the surface of your car before you break out the clay. You can use this to amplify the feeling of touch and gain an understanding of where to focus your attention. Generally, contaminants are found in the front of the vehicle. The third point
3. Form the patty out of the chunk of bar with the help of some lube. Then spray the patty with a little bit of lube to make it more workable. In diameter, it ranges from 5 to 2 inches. Make sure each spot is sprayed with lube before you clay it. If the clay catches, spray again. It is advisable to frequently reform the patty to prevent scratches on the paint as it accumulates dirt. The following are examples of the following 4. The patty should be thrown away if it is dropped on the ground. There will be no exceptions.
