Having no prior experience in detailing vehicles, I wanted to get rid of some light swirl marks caused by a clay bar treatment. This is the three-pack I bought System comprised of 3M Perfect-It bottles and Porter-Cable straps I used a corded DA polisher, Hex Logic pads, and Chemical Guys microfiber cloths. As with a conventional liquid polish, #2 polish works the same way There is a lot of white dust left after cleanup, and a lot of black paint is hazy, but mostly swirled as well. There's no charge. Finishing off the job with a polish like #3 is very useful. No swirls, holograms, or anything else are left on the photos, and clean up is fast and easy. There is a very small chance that a product will work better than expected.
You won't get a full 3M polish kit unless you own #1, #2, and If you don't have this product, then seek it out. It is used most often by body shops, so I knew that was all I had It is necessary to have a machine buffer for the results to look good.
In the automotive industry, 3M may be unpatriotic (selling protective masks to Canada and other countries instead of fulfilling US requests) but when it comes to fluid seals, adhesives, and finishing materials, it is a leading provider. I still think this is.
However, I have used it on a few occasions to buff out small scuffs and/or remove the paint from other cars from my bumper, but haven't used it to machine polish my black car. Due to the fact that I live in a city, I have to park on the street, so these types of small scratches are inevitable The polish I've used to address them safely and effectively is the best I've found.
A perfect finish is the last step. If #2 has been applied, I would say that this will not remove scratches, but refine the finish after that. As Step 2 removed the light scratches, the paint felt much slicker and left a deeper shine than it did following Step That is a very fine compound that doesn't leave any swirl marks on the paint. Cleaning and working with this material is easy.
LOL I used to polish my shoes with 3M polishing products forty years ago and THIS In their list of products, they number the products from 1 to 3 (the UltraFine is number If you follow the YouTube videos, then you will find it the easiest and best polish you will ever use.
You will notice a difference in your car paint after using this. If you use this, place a 3M ultrafine foam pad on top of it. You may be disappointed with anything else. Worked quite well on wood, but not so well on Now that I've talked myself into it, I'm going to have to buy some gelcoat polish.
The best I can say is that 3m is excellent at whatever it does. There is no doubt that the product will satisfy you if it is marked 3M.
