The two are equally useful to me. Using a diamond polisher instead of a high-speed one, take it off while it's still wet, so that dirt is pulled out of it when you remove
A dewalt buffer will have no use in buffing up this compound as it hardens up. The reason I returned the product was because of that. The wet sand would be best for the water spots if you want them gone permanently. If you do not have buffing experience, you are better off with the dry sand.

The product from 3M is awesome. All dirt, swirl marks, and scratches hidden in the clear coat can be removed when the product is used properly. It greatly improves paint protection while retaining the deep showroom luster that it used to have when It is highly advised that the "hand glaze" be covered with a fresh coat of wax once completed.
A 2 door 1978 Chevy Malibu Classic was purchased with this. Since the car had been sitting for years and was just cloudy, the paint had started to peel. Despite trying everything I could think of, I was unsuccessful in getting rid of the pimples by washing or applying other compounds. After a family member suggested that I try this product, I decided to give it a go. I am amazed! My paint now has all of the life it could have possible had it not been for that treatment. My only comment is that this item exceeded my expectations and I would be glad to order it.
A ding on my daughter's car's door prompted me to buy this in an attempt to buff out some paint. This is awesome. It was such a pleasant surprise to see There was a huge ding in the other car that was loaded with paint. Our team pulled out the dent as best as we could with a dent puller then blended it out with this stuff on a buffer using extreme caution to avoid over-buffing You should burn the paint and buff it. Astonished at how impressively beautiful the door was, we left in awe. It would be easy to find the dent if we actively searched for it (I'm a rookie with the vacuum) but if you didn't know it was there, it would be very difficult to locate. My daughter's wall was left with no damage due to the removal of the transferred I'm so glad I took a risk with this product. I've done two smaller jobs since and they've turned out great too.
It has been a while since I used 3M products and I have always been happy with them. That is also true of this rubbing compound. My car's hood had some small scratches, and this rubbing compound did well at removing them. I had to take some time to remove some of the scratches, but eventually I was able to do so. A good feature of this compound is that it only takes away a little bit of the scratch at a time. The risk of overdoing it should be minimal. By hand, I accomplished the task, but perhaps using a buffer would be a little better. It was a good experience all around.
The compound is very good for rubbing. This would be a good alternative if you need a rubbing compound that is not too aggressive. There are better alternatives if you have a serious blemish to remove. In any event In my mind, 3 M is synonymous with quality, and this product is not an exception. You should use this if you only have swirls or other minor paint imperfections. It will buff those In any case, 3 M comes off easily and doesn't leave a residue. You get what you pay for with this brand. It isn't as affordable as some brands, but it is a good buy. The product has a wonderful quality, and I will definitely buy it again. you are dealing with a tough defect in the paint, I would start with something a little more abrasive. Keep up the good work,.
I'm talking about the paint on your walls. The compound is for you if you're looking for something that has an appropriate amount of cutting power. The paint is cut enough to be good for waxing, but not so much that you burn the paint off too soon. In addition to the bonnet, I wear it on a lamb's wool hat. Worked well. I wouldn't want to use anything else.
3M has it figured out, so don't waste your time, labor and money on anything else, this stuff gets The five stars are well deserved.
During the previous owner's attempt to remove bird droppings and tree sap with a dish scrubber, the previous owner caused scratches on my used Tacoma. To get an estimate to repaint the hood, I went to a local auto paint and body shop. Using some rubbing compound is the recommendation of the Technician. Within ten minutes, the scratches had vanished with 3M compound and 3M polish, which were applied with a buffer, and Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax which was applied by hand. There was no way I could My truck is still being built. I've purchased many of these products and completed the rest of it. A little over $100 was spent. Once the scratches have been gone for a few hours, you can even tell they were in.
