On the gray rv, I'm not sure. I have a redwood with the premium paint job and decals, and the product performs admirably and leaves no streaks.
Like regular car wash soap, I mix it in a bucket with water. The wash mix is applied with a long-handled wash brush. After that, simply hose it down. If you want, you can use a power washer to rinse.
There is no petroleum distillate in the product, as far as I can tell. This was the first product I used on my first fifth wheel, as well as every other vehicle I owned. It protects the finish, waxes it, and waxes it. It is an excellent item.

I've always washed and waxed my cars with Meguiar's products. As a result, I used Meguiar's RV wash when I first got my RV. I used it for a few years and had a lot of trouble getting the tough bug / road debris stains out of the front, and it never did a good job getting the black streaks out. I just assumed that was how RVs were washed. br>br>I bought this stuff on the spur of the moment, and I'm so glad I did! It removed stains left behind by Meguiar's the first time I used it, and it did so with far less effort. It left no black streaks or bugs behind. Use HOT water to mix it, as suggested by others. That appears to have a positive effect on the speed of the process. br>br>My only regret is that I did not try it sooner. I can't tell you how much time I've spent over the years trying to remove stains with Meguiar's.
The finish on the fiberglass had been ruined by mildew. Based on the reviews, I decided to buy this product. I couldn't believe GelGloss had not only cleaned but also restored the shine to the camper. There's no need to scrub at all. After using this product, I would be proud to drive into any RV park.
In over a year, I hadn't washed my Starcraft Aruba, which was made of fiberglass. I bought it because of the positive reviews (I was only looking for a new RV brush). br>br>On wash day, I reached for a couple of bottles of black streak remover I kept on hand as part of my regular routine. They were unnecessary. Whether it was dirt, black streaks, or green algae, this stuff worked great without the need to scrub. It's as simple as sudsing and then rinsing. There were no color run-offs, unlike with the black streak remover. either from the side decals or from the bottom decals. It only took two hours to wash the entire 28' camper. 3 oz. , and it was completed in a fraction of the time it usually takes. It didn't help with the awning stains very much. That's exactly what I expected, given that nothing has been able to help. This is something I intend to do with my own vehicles as well. I haven't yet put it to the test. br>br>Additional Information: It has a Twizzlers-like aroma (if that's your thing).
This stuff shines beautifully, and it's far superior to the Turtle Wax automotive product I was using previously. There are no black streaks on the fiberglass and stainless steel wheel simulators, and they have a nice shine. br>I washed with hot softened water, which is quite thick, so I put about 1/4 cup of soap in the bucket first, then sprayed in the water to make it suds up nicely. To remove the bugs, use a long handle stiff bristle brush on the front surfaces first, then a soft bristle brush on the front and the rest of the rig. Water spots were not an issue after rinsing with cold, softened water. For a 31' Class C motorhome, I changed the 5 gallon bucket of wash water about 5 times.
It really works. My motorhome is left spotless and gleaming. It seems to be able to get rid of a lot of grime and dirt (magic?). This gel is quite thick. When you use it, you'll use a high-pressure hose to make a nice foamy mixture and thoroughly mix the gel. Also, as the foaming action begins to fade, you'll want to add a little more gel. Your outcomes will be fantastic if you do so. Mr. Long Arm Flow is another product I recommend. extending the pole through brushes (to clean the motorhome) For me, everything went smoothly.
My rv had been sitting for two years without being washed and was black striped and filthy, so I had low expectations. There are still a few light streaks here and there, but everything else is spotless, including the top.
It looked WORSE after I finished than it did before I started! It had been a complete waste of time.
It's simple to make (use hot water to mix in the bucket, as others have suggested), simple to apply (I use a long-handled, soft RV brush), effective at removing bugs, sap, bird droppings, and other debris from the vehicle's surface, rinses away quickly, and doesn't leave streaks or spots. I'm so impressed with how well it works on our 5th wheel that I've started using it on our pickup truck and other vehicles as well. It is something I strongly suggest.
