It's never been scratched, and it's always been washed with plenty of soap and water. I've never used dry wash or spray wax with this product. If you keep it well lubricated, it should be fine.
The dimensions are approximately 6 inches by 4 inches.
It was a single when I received mine a few years ago. I've only used it a half-dozen times on the front of my 4Runner (as a bug magnet) and it's still in excellent condition.
It may. However, the most effective way to remove tree sap is to use extremely hot water.

"It cleans bugs and other debris off without scratching the paint," he only said. Just make sure you use a lot of soap. " So I put it on my black truck at the time and gave it a shot. When used with plenty of soap, it removed the stuck junk and left no scratches. br>br>So, needless to say, my old one was falling apart, and I needed to figure out where I could get another- I followed through on that. Simply put, I've tried a slew of other methods to get rid of bugs and other "road hazards" that have taken up residence in my vehicles for the duration of their lives. All other methods were either too time consuming or resulted in paint scratches. br>br>When it comes to getting crud off of your car, this pad/ sponge is "the bees knees. " Use a lot of good car wash soap and clean it on a regular basis. It will eventually disintegrate, which means the edges will become rounded and bits of yellow will be left behind, as they did for me.
This product works well to remove bugs and tar from your front bumper, mirrors, and windshield, among other surfaces. It is a fairly hard material that must be soaked in soapy water for 5 minutes before use; do not skip this step. It performs admirably and requires little effort to achieve its goals. The only problem is that this sponge seemed to hold in some heavier material (construction grade hard foam), which scratched the paint on the vehicle pretty badly. So use it with caution and be careful what you use it on. Of course, this is due to human error.
This sponge makes removing stubborn bug stains from your vehicle much easier. Simply toss it in your wash water as directed while doing your initial rinse, and it'll be ready to scrub when the time comes. This sponge, combined with keeping a decent coat of wax on the nose of my car, has taken a lot of the nitty gritty work out of keeping the car clean.
Even when used with very soapy water as directed, I find it a little rough to use on a regular basis. I only use it to get rid of stubborn bugs or soap that have been left on for too long and require a little extra effort to remove. I usually try to remove bugs with a damp rag while they're still fresh because it's so much easier, but I'm not always that diligent. This is a useful tool to have in my wash kit, and it's a good price. It doesn't appear to be fragile.
It's fantastic, and I'm very happy with the outcome. I used it for the front of the house as well as the mirrors. I no longer use the tar and bug remover spray.
Fast shipping, accurate item description, and excellent performance.
There aren't enough positive things to say about it! Get rid of all your bug sprays and replace them with this sponge.
To be honest, there are no words to adequately express how fantastic this product is. If you're thinking about getting one, trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. Nobody wants tar or bugs on their car, so this is something that everyone should have in their garage. Tar and bugs are not only unsightly, but they are also harmful to the car's clear coat and paint. Your car can be restored to its former glory with a little soap, water, and a little extra elbow grease. This product is completely safe to use on clear coats, and I believe it will last for at least two years.
