It takes only one coat.
Like any other ceramic coating, it's most likely the same. If the paint has imbedded surface contamination, wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly. If the paint has imbedded surface contamination, use an iron remover and/or clay bar. Look for flaws such as swirls or marring in the paint. If there are any flaws in the paint, use the least aggressive method possible to fix them (polish, for example). Alternatively, you can polish first and then compound. ) Then, using a prewax cleanser or isopropyl wipe down, clean the perfected paint to remove any polishing oils or remaining residue, promoting coating adhesion... THEN, apply the serum coating to the naked paint according to the directions. Before applying the Exo, let it cure completely.
Be 100% sure the paint is optically perfected to your desire prior to applying the coating before applying the coating When the coating is applied and cured, any remaining swirls or scratches will be sealed in.
After only a few hours of CSL application, I was told it needed to be top coated.
It won't harm the paint, but it won't last as long as if you use an ipa wipe down before applying the serum. It is going to last a long time.

Both Pro and Consumer Coatings are used by me as a professional detailer. br>br>As a consumer coating, I find this one to be the best I've tried so far. br>br>I must confess that I have only recently begun to use the CSL, but I can already say the following. br>br>Easy to applybr>Offers a higher gloss than other consumer coatings I've tried. br>Super Hydrophobicbr>Fair price for what you getbr>br>When applying a coating, make sure the surface is smooth and free of flaws. br>br>Wash thoroughlybr>Clay bar to remove contaminantsbr>Polish to eliminate any minor flaws br>To ensure good bonding, wipe down with a mixture of alcohol and water to remove any oils that may be present.
You must correct the paint before applying this, and you must polish the paint. Then use alcohol to remove the wax before applying the ceramic coating. If you're doing this alone, make sure you have someone to assist you. Three new microfiber towels are available. Best of luck.
The end result was nothing short of spectacular after claying and polishing with Menzerna polishing compounds. Applying for the CSL was a breeze. The product went on smoothly and polished easily when applied and buffed as directed. The gleam and smoothness are incredible.
If you do your paint correction correctly and according to the instructions, you should be able to: You're going to be astounded. EXO is a waste of time. The coating becomes slightly foggy as a result of this. Eh. You really don't need it because the rest of the van is so hydrophobic.
Wash, decon with IronX and clay, then two-step polish are all important steps in this process. I did a final wipe with 91% isopropyl alcohol before starting applying once I finally got to polishing. I did apply it in the sun, but it was mid-morning in California, so it wasn't too hot; however, for the first night, make sure to park the car in a garage. After that, wait at least one week before washing the car. 2 weeks (depending on climate and other factors; more humid and hotter environments can speed up product hardening). For the first week, try to keep the paint free of water spots, bird droppings, and other debris. After four days, a sprinkler went off and left water spots on the side of my car; I caught it right away and sprayed C2v3 in single passes. Take rag, for instance. C2v3 should be sprayed on a rag. from the left to the right refold the paper on a new side (Because the ceramic coating was still soft at this point, I used very light hand pressure. ).
I used 50ml to cover all of the painted surfaces on a Kia Niro except the roof panel. To be safe, only work on small areas at a time and remove them right away. It's possible that I squandered some product due to overlap, but it's difficult to say. Others recommended that I remove the product with virgin microfibre towels, so I did. In my opinion, this is essential to the process. br>br>I used a clay bar, fine grade polish, and alcohol wiping to properly prepare the paint, and the end result was impressive: dirt and water no longer adhere to the paintwork, making it very easy to clean. I'm not sure how long it will last, but it's by far the best paint sealer I've ever seen on a vehicle. To keep the shine, I suppose it will need to be waxed on a regular basis.
It's been on my SUV for 9 months now. It washed dozens of times during the Michigan winter. It creates a slick, easy-to-clean surface. It was also used on a Corvette to cover XPEL film. It's a cinch to keep the car clean with it.
It went on very smoothly after a good paint correction and looks fantastic months later. br>br>It was literally flawlessly painted on my brand new Rav 4. On both vehicles, I did this as well as Exo v4.
