Questions & Answers
It's what I use on the fairing of my Harley Streetglide, and it works well. There's no reason it couldn't be used in an RV.
I've smeared it all over my helmet, as well as the chrome on my bike. It's fantastic.
When it comes to denim finishes, be cautious. Our Harley dealer advised us to only use dawn dish soap because otherwise the finish would deteriorate over time.

I decided to give it a shot after seeing some recommendations on YouTube. Now, I'm sorry to say that I've never used anything like this before. Previously, I would dampen a paper towel and place it on the bugs for a few minutes, after which they would easily wipe off. This caught my eye because I could keep it in my saddlebag and use it to wash away bugs while also maintaining a protective coating on the bike, all while on the go. When I first got it, I noticed that the bike had a few bugs on it, but it was still early in the year, so they weren't too bad. These came off fairly easily, and I was able to use it on every surface of the bike, and it cleaned and shined everything nicely. However, once summer arrived in Maine, I became aware of its limitations. In June, I went on a longer day ride and returned late at night. I let the bugs sit over night and went for another ride the next morning, only to be greeted by more bugs; the fairing was completely covered in bugs, and they sat until Sunday morning. Now, I sprayed a generous amount of this on the fairing and let it sit for a minute or two, and while the majority of the bugs came off, there were a few that refused to go away. To avoid having to scrub them off with a lot of force and risk scratching the paint, I went back to my wet paper towel method, which worked perfectly. I was also underwhelmed by the price; I estimate that with this container, I was able to clean the front of the bike and the saddlebags four times and the entire bike once, which I believe is excessively priced. My brother claims that Yamaha makes a similar spray that costs only two dollars per can, but I have no way of knowing if it is effective. I'm going to try some, and when I do, I'll update this review, but for the price and the claims of simply wiping away bugs, I didn't find it effective. I liked that it left a protective covering afterward, but given the price and the amount and limitations, I believe there are better options.
It's fantastic! In a single day, I rode my Harley for 400 miles. I finally decided to get rid of the bugs after almost two weeks, and my friends recommended Bug Slide, which I had never used before. It worked so well on bugs that had been present for a long time that I paused what I was doing, grabbed my phone, and decided to record a video of the second half of my cleanup. This is something I strongly advise you to try.
I really like it. I've been using Bug Slide for several years and can't imagine life without it. It safely and effectively removes bugs and other debris from motorcycle windshields, headlights, helmet face shields, and other surfaces; it is safe and effective on plastic, glass, metals, chrome, paint finishes, and other surfaces; it also repels water on windscreens/windshields and face shields - When riding in the rain, the water beads up and rolls off, making visibility easier. Bug Slide for my helmet and bike is the only product I've found that I like better.
We've been together for eight years. Many bug removers for motorcycle windshields are available on the market, and many of them are effective. BUG SLIDE is my favorite because of its versatility. This product is excellent for cleaning paint and chrome. When you don't have the time or inclination to polish and wax, it's ideal for a quick shine. The microfiber towel included in the kit is by far the best I've ever used. But don't touch that towel to a hot or warm exhaust; you'll be cleaning up the melted residue with oven cleaner.
I just used it and set it aside for three days. 5 minutes on the areas that are more difficult to reach. It wiped off with little effort, but you'll have to work a little harder to get the bugs off. Because there were a few streaks, I polished with a dry cloth.
We average about 1000 miles per week on highways, and while this helped to eliminate some of the bugs, it didn't completely eliminate them. It's not worth the money they're asking for it. I might buy it again in the future because it helped a little, but the price is outrageous! I had expected it to completely remove the bug sap. That is not the case. It does assist in cleaning, but not in 90 degree heat with baked-on bugs. A friend of mine claims that in order for this to work, you must carry it on your bike and clean at each rest stop. Who has that kind of time?.
This was purchased for my husband's Harley-Davidson-style motorcycle. Motorcycle made by Harley-Davidson. He kept forgetting to put it to the test, so I did it for him to see how well it worked. It worked so well that I now use it on our bike every night after our evening ride; it only takes about 5 minutes to get rid of all the bugs from our night ride, and we ride in the country, so there are a lot of bug guts on our bike. Plus, our bike is a touring model, so it is quite large. I'm going to get the travel one as well to keep on the bike.
I recently purchased a 2019 Road Glide with Wicked Red Denim paint, which necessitates extra attention. This is by far the best product I've found after searching for a product to clean and protect the paint on my motorcycle. It won't harm the denim paint, also known as flat paint, and you won't be able to wax it.
