Greetings, I've received my order and it has both a cleaner bottle and a fabric guard bottle in the same box. A 16-ounce bottle held one liter of wine. A stock number of 30520 was on the box. The 32 oz. bottle came with the package, as well. I would recommend ordering the 16-oz. bottles that came with the kit as an extra for future use apart from the fabric guard. There are two.
My only suggestion for applying the protectant would be to dunk a clean sponge in the protective material and spread it around. In my experience, I can't comment on how well this method would work because I haven't used it myself. A spray can of RaggTop brand soft top protectant is available. That might be a good one to try. Considering that it's easier to apply and lasts longer, I think it's a great product. Make sure your top is clean and dry before you begin.
Sun and water slowly wear out or diminish the sealant, and yes, cleaners also contribute to the fade or diminishment. In the end, you will have to reseal, but you will be able to see how much sealant you have by the amount of beads that form on your You can see it beading up when you first put sealant on, but it slowly diminishes as time goes by.
It was 12oz., but I have no idea what size it was. A comparison between a rag top and a t-shirt. Neither I nor anyone else is able to help. The 303 got me through the summer up until now on my 2006 corvette. After I finished using the 303, I put the top away for winter and it was as good as the day it was made. In my opinion, I will go back to 303 again if I have a need for a fabric guard product. Aside from having to use the cleaner in the kit to also clean any overspray, it is not necessary. Despite my high expectations, the product has exceeded them all. Thanks for reading. I hope it was helpful.

As the directions say, protect rubber, plastic, body parts, etc. , but I went the extra mile and taped everything off with blue (Painters) tape available at most DIY stores and added newspaper to keep overspray from reaching the rubber, plastic, body parts, etc. I am glad I did it! In the areas where I missed the protective film on a few windows, I was able to remove it with isopropyl alcohol and a razor blade after applying the protective film according to the instructions. The film was very difficult to remove from the glass as it was very sticky. The container of the fabric cleaner has to be about 3/4 the size of the container of the fabric protectant. My fabric protector is gone after dripping just a bit from the bottle of fabric cleaner. According to directions on containers, I was very careful with the amounts used.
I didn't have high expectations for the 303 Automotive Tonneau Cover and Convertible top cleaner, given my tan convertible top on a 2007 model. The only thing I can say is WOW! It's amazing how much has changed. In the first instance, I did my homework, and you must be careful if you want a canvas convertible top to last a long time. Fabric can be damaged by traditional nylon brushes since they are too harsh. A standard microfiber cloth and a standard towel leave behind lint that's difficult to remove. The only sure way to safeguard your financial future is to locate a reputable, high-quality broker (And finding a quality horse hair brush can be difficult because most of them are poorly made and leave fibers everywhere). After much searching and testing, I found a german horse hair brush on Amazon and it proved to be effective. My first step was to wet the top, spray it with 303 cleaner, and use the horsehair brush to work it in gently. In a few areas where the soil was particularly heavy, I re-cleaned Submitted an application. The only complaint I have is that The cleaner had to be rinsed away several times before it was effective. Eventually, I was able to wash away all the dirty areas I had scrubbed too vigorously. This was a truly stunning result - he was simply amazed at the results. You can see the difference in the photos I've uploaded. It is impossible to work miracles with 303, but I found that it gave me a near-perfect result Unlike old surfaces that are streaked or dirty, new tops are bright and evenly clean. After applying 303 Sealer, I followed up with weathersealing oil.
it on Sunday and Tuesday, when there was a storm with strong winds and rain, and the water just beaded off like it wasn't even there! For the duration of my ownership of this car, I plan to buy this! I love how easy it is As a final suggestion, here is one that I think you will find useful. The purchase of a used car Tape a drop cloth over the top, the type you use for covering your baseboards when painting, and wrap it all around so that no (or very little) of the product gets on your paint or glass. Honestly, I had to work on that for years before I was able to apply. The following is how I put it into practice I. - It takes forever to rinse out the included cleaner where I washed my car and cleaned the top (nice product, but takes a long time to rinse out)*- After I waxed my car, I stripped off the wax, then let it sit in the sun for the top to fully dry. Next, I taped all around the top of the book with the tape/drop cloth
* I included a picture of my car when it rained when I parked it. The day I parked it, I sprayed Fabric Guard all over it and left it to dry in the shade.
It turned out that the cleaner did remove quite a bit of tree sap and debris from My verdict is that this cleaner works well. I followed the cleaning instructions, and I made sure the cleaner completely dried. I applied two coats of fabric top protector, and I allowed them to dry for 24 hours, unnoticed. Now this is where I started to lose confidence in the product. This was not a rainy week, so I don't think it really mattered. Therefore, I poured a small amount of water on the top, hoping that it would get a bead There seemed to be no problem shedding the water from the sides. In contrast, the flatter surfaces on the top did not seem to be very effective at removing As I was driving, I even tried to blow the water off the top, as the wind would while driving through the mountains, but the water seemed to soak in more than leave. In my opinion, the product looks, smells, and feels very much like tent sealer that you can purchase at sporting goods stores. I cannot claim to know what the proprietary ingredients are for this product. My only wish would be to have more UV protection than the products like that. Perhaps it will turn out to be true. Therefore, any product that does not specifically state it is for cloth convertible tops won't be recommended. I figured I would coat it with at least two more coats of the protector before giving up, knowing that this car was an older one with its original top. After I got the sprayer out of the bottle a couple of days later, it was about half clogged and was unable to spray a fine mist, which would have prevented an There is no way I can blame the manufacturer, but I would have appreciated a warning to rinse the sprayer. So, I ended up having to use the entire bottle in order to deliver some protection to my It is possible to get better results from a newer car equipped with some factory protector still on the soft top. Even if you have a convertible top that needs some resealing or protection, it is still worth a shot to use this kit. In this case, I'm considering trying the Rag Top brand next since there aren't very many other products on the market. As a matter of fact, I've seen that the local auto parts stores don't carry anything for caring for convertible tops.
My impression of the results is very high. The Hartzell cloth convertible top on my Jaguar used to be cleaned with it yesterday. As a result of storing and washing my car regularly, the top is over 20 years old and in good shape. The top looks not just good, but just like new after using the 303 cleaner. This fabric has a uniform texture that is intensely black. Aside from any small stains or blemishes, the garment was flawless. It was a great night, and now I'm After the top had dried completely I applied the protector with a spounge brush, based on a recommendation from another reviewer. The spray should not be oversprayed. The deep black color became even more intense when it was dried. Seeing as it is watertight at this point, I don't consider it a big deal if it displaces water or not. All of this is worth it because the fabric will be protected for a long time and will look great.
