** Update September In keeping with the latest update we did in September 2018 After a year's worth of car washes (about once every four weeks) Five weeks after buying the mitt (washing a full sized SUV and a sedan), one of the seams unraveled and it fell apart. I was able to sew it back together, but I'm disappointed that the mitt didn't last longer. The following uses are possible. Summary In the end, I bought this kit mostly because the dirt trapper was my main desire. There are some negative reviews regarding the dirt trapper. For example, most of the reviews state that it doesn't really fit well in the standard 5 gallon HD/Lowe's buckets and needed some modifications as a result. Since I did not feel like dealing with that, I figured I'd just order the kit with the proprietary bucket and get a few bonuses. Using the dirt trap filter in the bucket is a great idea. The design of the bucket ensures that most of the dirt is trapped at the bottom. The problem is that I use a two-step wash So the dirty water goes in the rinse bucket anyway since the rinse bucket is the method of picking up dirt. One drawback is that because the dirt trap fits so well, it's hard to remove it without turning the bucket upside down. Other have drilled holes in it and used zip ties as loops for ease of removal, but since I do not have any reason to take this thing out in the middle of washing my car, I have left it alone. Despite being shorter than the usual 5 gallon bucket, there's no doubt this bucket is a sturdy one. As well as the lid, it is thick and sturdy. The idea was that I would use it as a seat when cleaning the wheels and such. However, I find that I still need the soapy water in the bucket for doing the wheel cleaning, so I have not used it for either I use the lid mainly as a frisbee to play with my kids when I wash I don't go around sniffing cars for that "just washed" smell, but the soap suds up well and gives the car a nice shine. The lemony scent is kind of a gimmick since I don't go around washing my car. It feels good quality to hold the mitt. The problem occurs when my hand gets wet and I have to get it inside the mitt. There doesn't seem to be a lot of difference between the stuff you can buy at Wallyworld and this. Overall, the items are nice, and I am happy with them all, but the price seems a bit high compared to the value. Having said that, if I had to do it over again, I would probably just buy the dirt trapper by itself and save myself some money.

. A bucket and grit guard. I was afraid that I would have the issues other reviewers had with the grit guard fitting at the bottom of the bucket. It does not fit snug at the bottom of the bucket, and it often comes loose when using the cleaning mitts. A combination of such high quality and expense does not fit together at all. It was necessary to cut the legs pretty close so that I would be able to pull it together. It is for these reasons that 3 stars are awarded to this kit. If you want a set that actually works, then you can get it much cheaper. I cleaned my mitt. That is a really cool thing! All the dirt is trapped in it, and it feels very high-quality. A small amount of product was thrown in my eye when it did so. It took me a good five minutes of flushing and a lot of pain to realize there is more to that product than we needed.
Read the labels before opening any packaging. If the beads were on your car the way my milky eyeball tears are, you might like the product. Goggles and gloves are a must. You could also just use Dawn and move on to the next step.

As a result of banging around during shipping, the expensive wash solution leaked all over it. This CG bucket is a bit on the expensive side (but well worth it). There's no need to buy items individually when you're able to get this kit for a much better price. In terms of the wash mitt, this is better than anything else I have used before, but the new grit guard seems to work just fine. I keep the old style grit guard and washboard It really is great to have these lids handy while working on wheels, door jambs, etc. I haven't tried the citrus wash yet, but I'm sure it will be just as good as the rest.
The hype is not the only thing it's good for. It has a good bucket but there are four legs on the dirt screen, one having already broken The piece was never in my possession, and I have no idea how it ended up here, so I am unsure if it was shipped that way. However, it is a nice little set. It is much better now that my old one lost the elasticity in the wrist on the mitt. I like using citrus soap when I wash my cars because it seems to clean my cars well. This spray-dry mist does not make any sense to me. I always get it to dry by hand. I find that the spray has no effect on.
Wow! I have no words to describe how I feel. Unlike many cheap products, these ones are made well. With a bucket made of very durable plastic, a wash mitt that really picked up dirt and grime from your car, and one that was easy to clean. Wash the mitt in the machine and dry it and it will behave probably is the best detailing tool ever, it does a great job at agitating dirt off the mitt, and you can actually see the sediments at the bottom of the bucket as you wash your car. Using 20% of the Clean and Shine liquid per gallon leaves the car smooth and shiny. Using the butter wax, it leaves it as smooth Purchased this and it was worth it.
