You can use the 16oz if you are only going to do your personal cars. Getting the gallon jug might be a good idea if you are going to be washing more than just your vehicles. In the past, I have always used Meguiar's car wash soap. However, I decided to try Mr. Pink from Chemical Guys, and it's excellent. Since the 16-ounce bottle isn't very costly, I bought it to be sure I wouldn't be wasting my money if I didn't like the product. It won't matter whether you choose 16 oz or 1 gallon, you'll get the same great taste. That's all I have to say.
The recommended mix for a 5-gallon bucket can be found in one of their videos on how to use Mr. Pink. Four caps contain all of the product. They recommend that you use two ounces of foam cannon, if you use one. Fill the container with the liquid. In my experience, the recommended ratios do a good job when I've used both methods. In my opinion, I prefer to use the canon to wash the dishes because it is quicker and easier than washing dishes by hand.
In addition to being biodegradable and pH balanced, Mr Pink is marketed as being plastic-free.
Using a foam gun will still result in a lot of foam. I've been using only foam guns for the last four years, but they're still well suited for the job.

Having been a detailing enthusiast for over 30 years, I spend a lot of time using waxes and sealants, and I prefer them over soaps that come with You end up coating your premium wax or sealant that you spent hours applying with a crappy one that masks over its poor wax characteristics when using a car soap with wax included. Among the few soaps without wax, this is one of them! You are thus able to remove contaminants without masking the real thing with a counterfeit one to restore the quality of your premium products.
As a side note, if you don't spend a lot of time waxing, sealing, or coating your car, you should consider buying car soap with wax.
looks and smells terrific and leaves my toys with a nice, clean shine every time I use it! I definitely became a long-term, loyal customer of Chemical Guys by referring my friends here.
After using a commercial grade 'all in one'/containing wax wash product for two years, I chose Mr Pink to replace it. Since there is no time to waste when washing a 40' motor coach, I cannot dilly dally. The other combo product must be washed, rinsed, and dried quickly to avoid spotting and filming. Mr Pink does not need to be washed, rinsed, and dried quickly. Cleaning is good, rinsing is good, and toweling is good with minimal staining. That way I can continue waxing as usual. That is what I love about it and that is what I recommend.
The Chemical Guys' Mr. Pink is now a big part of my musical repertoire. From the 16 oz, I poured 2 cap fulls. I filled my 5 gallon bucket almost to the top with the contents of the bottle. (4 gallons of water. The only thing needed was a little bit of effort. I admit that I was a bit skeptical at first, which is why I purchased the smaller bottle to begin It was then I thought to myself, "Well, car soap is There is no. The truth is, it isn't. Various soaps and shampoos come in different viscosity levels and are made with various detergents and additives. That being said, I'm really into the Mr. Pink collection. In other words, it delivered on what it promised. A product should provide me with the value I expect when buying Do not get me wrong. This is not some miricle wax that will transform your rusted out 68 chevelle into a show room piece. You begin to notice things here and there if you keep up with your car often. I took note of the fact that this soap seemed to be a step above the rest. Bye-bye to the meguiar's, the mothers, and the I am so glad you are here, chemical guys!.
The color of my car has changed from rust to brown. I bought it 3 weeks ago. The car I bought is a brand new 2020 Honda Civic, which I have had for 3 weeks. It was my first time using this soap on my brakes, and the brake rotors had "rust bronze" coloring after washing. What is the reason for this? When a product has so much potential, why would you sell it? The only thing I need is soap that foams. We had to send the other stuff back as well, not even daring to risk it. NOWHERE was the ingredients listed for this product. Chemicals need to be toned down.
Only if you use a pressure washer with over 1700 psi can you get a foaming wash like this. I ordered two of these because I was so excited to receive them. We thought we'd share a fun activity with my brother who loves detailing and has a foam cannon, so we were thrilled to get it started. Since both of us have 1700 psi pressure washers, we didn't get the results we were hoping for. Our foam was watery like the kind you get at the car wash that drips off and not the kind that looks like shaving cream foam. So, it's time to go a little stronger with the next pressure washer, but that will have to wait until the current one wears out. What a bummer.
Last week, I picked up this product along with a Foam Blaster ($40) and Microfiber Mitt ($6) from Chemical Guys. As well as a bucket filled with water, a standard 3/8" garden hose needs to be connected to a water source. It is not necessary to power wash, although next time I will do so and report back. My car got a fantastic shine as well as I was very pleased with how easy it was to clean. It took about 25 minutes to complete the job. As soon as I got home, I sprayed my car with a gentle hose spray to remove dirt and debris. I then installed Mr. Pink's shampoo in the foam blaster and added it to my hair. You will see a line on the solution tank that is connected to the foam blaster that tells you how much shampoo and water to add to it. You can place the nozzle vertically or horizontally to spray the foam. It has 5 different pressure settings high, medium, low and no pressure Foam values 0 (the least foam), A, B, C, D, and E (the most began with B, but the spray barely produced foam, so I increased it to D, and this is by far my preferred setting, which gets a sufficient amount of shampoo to reach even people with the most severe When you are on the D setting, you have approximately three minutes to spray continuously before the shampoo runs out. The amount is enough for 2 fairly slow passes around any medium-sized sedan, making sure to get every nook and cranny, including wheels and exhaust. After soaking the paint for a few minutes, the shampoo was rinsed away with a microfiber cloth. After using a hose water spray, I rinsed it off with another microfiber towel and dried it with a second As soon as I first smelled it, I was captivated. You could smell the odor from all over the house, it smelled like strawberry or bubble gum. This is some strong scent, I tell you. However, I still need to wax the car because it now has a terrific shine. I enjoyed this experience very much and I was impressed with how easy and affordable it was. The 1 gallon should last you approximately ten years. It may take between 12 and 16 washes depending upon the amount of shampoo used. The total cost of the supplies, excluding the garden hose, is approximately $80. After roughly 8 frequent car washes, you should break even at the cheapest car wash near me that charges $10 a visit. A free torque gun is included, as well as a better shine, an amazing smell, and less scratches. Although this shampoo may not be the best in the world, it is certainly up there and a huge upgrade over most products found at the local car wash or Pep Boys, as well as most products you can find There are quite a few products I've used, and yes, Mr. Pink's shampoo by Chemical Guys is the best. Chemical Guys also has a few other good products (leather cleaner, conditioner, I have several friends who are adept at maintaining their cars and can attest to the quality of Chemical Guys' products. Whenever you use them, you will never be disappointed. As my next project, I will be trying out Chemical Guys wax lube and wax bar. I'd like to once again recommend it highly.
In the past, I've been using Mother's California Gold as my car wash of choice. My favorite has always been Mother's Gold Class, but, in my opinion, Meguires Gold Class has the upper hand. I grabbed this during a lightning deal and am very happy with it. In comparison to Mother's, Mr. Pink leaves a nice shine, suds up beautifully, and foams up well. I now go to this car wash whenever I need to wash the car. It is just plain wrong for the guy who posted before me to say that it was the same as any other car wash.
