No . The lining isn't water-resistant.
Blend of polyester and nylon. Mitts were great because they didn't scratch. This book comes highly recommended.

I was looking for a new one for the new season and came across this 2-pack. For only $1 more, pack a no-name brand. So I decided to give it a shot. The Chemical Guys mitts appeared to be a little thicker at first. But now that I've used them, I can't tell the difference between the Aidea mitts and the Chemical Guys mitts without looking at them closely. I'm glad I saved up and only bought this 2-pack. pack. Excellent value for money.
After rinsing off the soap, I used it as drying mitts, but it left so much green lint fuzz that I had to stop. Fortunately, I had Chemical Guys and AmazonBasics mitts on hand to complete the task. I'm going to try washing them in the machine and using them to apply soap instead of drying them with my other mitts.
They're also superior to the CG brand. Plus, you almost get two for the price of one CG brand, and there's no real shedding or lint production. . . . Just make certain that you've done your homework ahead of time. When new, wash in cold water and wring out to remove any remaining lint before using. It's well worth the money to keep three two-packs on hand, especially if you do car detailing on the side like I do.
I had forgotten how nice they were in comparison to the half towel I was using previously. It helps to speed up car washing, which is especially important in this day and age of square cracker box vehicles with enormous width and length. br>To be honest, I recently discovered that using a washrag to wash the dog sped up the process significantly, or so I thought. Why don't you take it a step further? (And working on the car with two hands will be faster. ).
It appears to be the same material as some bathmats, which is fine. br>br>However, when wet, these hold a lot of water, making them a bit heavy to use if you're washing multiple vehicles.
There are no scuffs. Multiples are useful, so this is a good deal. A car can be touched up in minutes by two people. Value is a five-star rating. br>br>There isn't much to say about the product; it performed admirably in its first application. It didn't shed green fuzz, which I was worried about. It soaks up a lot of water but then rinses clean. br>br>From the insert, the best line is "wash with like colors. " If you have a load of neon green laundry, it's time to move on from 1985.
In a nutshell, these wash mitts are amazing! They're big, sturdy, absorbent, and did a fantastic job cleaning my car! For the reasons stated above, as well as the value, I strongly recommend these. To get rid of the lint, wash them before using them for the first time. Then. enjoy!.
Years ago, I used a sponge, but a few years ago, I switched to a "sheepskin" mitt. However, having recently spent a large sum of money on a new motorcycle, he had decided to join the twenty-first century. I'm glad I took the initiative. Very nice, and after using it, I rinse it and put it in the washing machine, and it comes out looking brand new.
