The answer is yes, assuming you're referring to a standard garden hose in the US. Usually, when we talk about the size of a hose 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch etc what we mean is the diameter of the hose, not the diameter of the
As they are meant to go with a garden hose, I do not know. You may need to use a power washer because of the pressure. Nothing really makes sense to me.
In actuality, this item is just meant to go with a regular hose that is around the house. That is the maximum amount of pressure they can handle.
The Gilmour Team 09QCGT-2 With the 10 year warranty of the Green Thumb Brass Quick Connector Set for Hose, this unit works much better than the previous one. They have held up well over the years and we have used them for years.

I purchased five sets for the different connections I have on my My only issue with the automatic shut-off function was that it was always on. An easy way to remove the brass shut off piece is by punching and hammering it. I'm sorry, I'm not able to Interestingly, the hose washer is inside the female portion of this ring so it is not attached to it. Replacing the OS is not an easy task, since I do not know how to go about it The ring will be there if you need it. As of yet, the systems have been working well. I will follow up on the following The little steel balls inside the coupler rust after a while, causing the coupler to slide harder and harder. The coupler still functions, but it is not as smooth as it should be. The company seems to believe that stainless steel of a high quality is not necessary. Another follow-up is as follows The quick connects have rusted to the point that they are almost unusable after 2 years. As well as the o-rings, they leak as well There is no way to replace an irreplaceable ring. As far as I'm concerned, I have given up using them, but if you don't mind replacing these once a year or so, then go for.
You can read details about the male here, and the female here. There are brass items here. It is reported that they can drink the water safely. Additionally, this set is fitted with female auto shutoff quick couplings. My purchase of this set was based on that reason. I've tested the female end of this set and it appears to work fine with heavy brass male plugs from Gilmour, Nelson, and Dramm (which is still made in the USA), as well as a few heavy brass no-name China made plugs. Though it is very similar in design to the standard type, it is dimensionally There are only a few improvements to the plug. The plug is just a little bit narrower, and the flat portion of the plug length (the part that inserts into the female) is just a little bit shorter than the old standard plugs. Now that the male plug is in the recycling bin, it can be thrown away. There is a trick to making these type of couplings work smoothly (given that washers are used) and that is how tight you attach the female coupling to the spigot or pipe overtighten the male coupling, it becomes impossible to insert and remove the male plugs, and if you undertighten the female coupling, a leak will occur once the male plug is still attached. As long as all plugs have the same dimension, this technique works well. Therefore, if I set all my female couplers to standard plugs, the just slightly shorter Camco plug will leak. If I tighten the couplers, the Camco plug will work fine, but all other standard plugs will be difficult to insert or remove. Therefore, you can use any plug with the female depending on how tight you tighten it when installing the plug. Due to my large number of standard plugs, I was unable to connect the non-standard plug Men who don't conform to Camco specifications are While not impossible to find brass auto-parts, they are not as common as others Couplers for shutting off the flow of electricity. In other words, for $5 and change you can buy the set but be satisfied with just the female part. No male coupler is inserted into the hose when Shuoff is inserted, so water does not flow out the end. Once the male part is inserted, water begins to flow. The auto-pilot mode is the only one I use I sometimes use sprinkler shutoff couplers (that have a hose in and hose out connection) with hoses to water the outdoor areas around With this method, whatever sprinkler is at the end of the line won't have water pouring out of it thanks to the auto-cut off device The coupling can be shutoff. There may be a little restriction in the water flow, but it ends up working fine for this use. Some people use them to switch spray heads or other fittings on the end of a hose without having to walk back to the spigot to shut it off and turn it Other than special purposes as mentioned, regular flow through-type female couplings seem to be more appropriate to me, at least that's what I have experienced. In all seriousness, the rubber/plastic grips are excellent. It's fine in simple brass, I just removed them with pliers to prevent them from bursting at an inconvenient time in the future.
I am counting all the old plastic handles as broken because they broke in a year or two or they leaked. The brass fittings in question are NOT the right ones. Only difficulty I have encountered is reattaching the hoses and nozzles in the winter when the ball bearings are frozen. Not sure if it is the mechanism or the ball bearings. If you spray them with WD-40, you shouldn't have any problems It has been 40 hours since the leak occurred, and now it is normal and secure. Product is very effective and the price is very reasonable.
In a low-pressure system, water continues to flow once the connection has been cut off. They are not products I would consider buying Several years ago, I bought some that had a spring loaded brass stopper valve inside that prevented any back splash or open water flow even after they were If your water pressure is low, these will not close off the flow of water after disconnecting if the water pressure is low. As there is no spring load inside, water continues to flow freely even after the connection has been disconnected. It helps to rattle the loose valve into place if I shake and bang the fitting against something. It was really nice to have an older style spring loaded. That's not the case with I apologize for the inconvenience.
There is no way to tighten this connector onto the spigot due to the plastic spinning freely around the metal part! I believe you could tighten it with pliers, but with the cheap metal much of the time employed, it would result in an ill-fitting It is the idea of the quick connect fitting that intrigues me the most One of the quick connect parts was leaking between quick connect parts, and I was trying to replace it. It's a good price, but I'm looking for a better product. Returning to work.
The tank can be flushed with city water, which makes switching so much easier. The old caps are used to cover the tubs and keep them tightly closed during storage (zip ties keep them in place during storage).
The three I purchased in May 2016 are still in use. Breaking has already occurred in one case. Within six days of the 30 day return policy, I am unable to return the item. I was expecting it to last, but it only lasts for a short time. The female end of my cable fell apart in three pieces as I was disconnecting it. Even doing this, this quick connection still failed to hold up. The quick connect requires the hose to be disconnected with zero pressure. It requires turning off the hose and releasing the pressure, and then attempting to disconnect again.
A solid brass ring! I asked for just that only, and I got what I asked for. My hose ends on the aluminum versions of this product are permanently welded to the hose due to corrosion, so I'm tired of cutting them up and putting new ends on them. A second problem is that the aluminum ones get clogged up with scale, making adjustments difficult. It's important for you to read the fine print on others if you don't want aluminum. Choose these if you're looking for a product that won't turn to mush after.
