Is there a way to measure the amount of water to add to the shampoo canister before adding it?

If you wish to complete the wash, we recommend filling your canister half way or more. Regardless, it is a matter of personal taste, so you may prefer more sudsy water or greater foaming cycle time (fill entire canister), or greater or lesser dilution ratios for soap. Thank you!

In a 50/50 mixture of Mercedes gold class and their yellow ultimate wash and wax, I make soap. I was able to wash the full size truck nearly twice with 5 ounces of this soap mix and the #3 hole, so I will try 3 or 4 ounces next time. I found the gun, quick disconnect, and nozzle to be well designed. Having read the description, it seems to be a very durable product.

The idea of a foam gun seemed like just a gimmicky detailing tool, so I wasn't sure if I would ever need one. The water didn't create suds the way a canon would, but it did form a nice layer of soapy water throughout the car, breaking down dirt and grime, and it made my mitt glide over the car without dipping back in. It gets the job done, and it uses up the wash solution quickly

My car was foamed up very nicely after I changed the internal hose to use the smaller hole, since it originally came with the largest hole. I quickly emptied the canister top after I changed the internal hose. This foams up the entire car nicely, but it's not as effective as the carwash.

It is made As an American, being willing to pay a premium for a product made in the USA has a lot of appeal. There is no such thing as a United States-made product. A ripped or incomplete gasket was present in the interior.
