Questions & Answers
The chemical guys bucket is a 4 1/4 gallon bucket that weighs approximately 36 pounds when filled with water and can easily be carried. The bucket should hold 220 pounds if you're sitting on it and the chemical guy's lid is properly fitted, but the more scratched and worn the bucket becomes, the weaker it becomes. If you purchase a dolly for it, you should be able to avoid wear and tear.
After a few months, my lid cracked, and I have yet to replace it. It appears that a standard 5-gallon bucket will fit.
It can be used with any 12-volt battery. buckets with a diameter of one inch
The lid is held in place with a snap. There isn't a single seal to be found. Once it's attached, it takes up no room in the bucket. Except for the fact that it is overpriced, this lid is functional.

This was supposed to be for the bucket and lid, but it wasn't. You can imagine my surprise when I received a bucket lid in the mail. I'll make sure to read the listing description thoroughly now. This isn't the first time I've been duped by a classic bait and switch. You'll see what I'm talking about if you read the other reviews. This lid is not worth the money for the price I paid.
There were a lot of these lids, and they came on buckets with valuable contents, such as gold. , as well as paint and grout adhesives They strewn trash all over construction sites and garbage cans. All you have to do now is pick them up, clean them, and you've got a sealable lid and container for sitting on, washing cars, or storing items. For some inexplicable reason, I paid $16 for this lid. I was storing brushes in a Napa 5 gallon bucket when it snapped. It doesn't create an airtight seal. I was able to avoid buying a $15 Chemical Guys bucket, which isn't even 5 gallons, but only 4 gallons. This $17 bucket lid is no longer useful. I couldn't recommend this item to a friend because the embarrassment was too much for me to bear.
I gave it back to you. br>br>Now I've ordered it again, and it's the same thing. It doesn't make any sense. It's too small to hold the bucket. It won't snap on, no matter how hard I try. br>br>According to other reviews, the red lids fit perfectly, but the black lids do not. br>br>I'm hoping Chemical Guys will take care of this. To go with my bucket, I'd like a black lid. I'll return it, and hopefully they'll be able to resolve the problem quickly!.
I couldn't believe I had bought this bucket. However, once I began the two-week program, I realized that I had made a mistake. I realized the true value of the bucket wash method with the inserts. Yes, the inserts could be used in a less expensive bucket, but that's beside the point. It appeals to my tastes. I also purchased the lid so that I could sit on the bucket and detail when it was empty.
Congratulations, Chemical Guys!! This is a great alternative to the lids that come standard with 5 gallon buckets. This bucket cover appears to be compatible with all "standard" 5 gallon buckets - The fit is perfect, and it's simple to take off and put back on. br>br>It may seem strange to praise a simple plastic cover, but this one fits and is flexible enough to fit a variety of bucket brands.
When I go to the car wash, I want to be able to transport my Chemical Guys Bucket with soap and water in my trunk. According to the reviews, it has a rubber gasket, but there isn't one. Despite this, it does an "acceptable" job of preventing soap/water splashing and leaking. It still needs to be placed on a towel, but it's better than nothing.
This is ridiculous, a $10 lid!.
Your bucket will not become a chair as a result of this action. It's just a top, after all. It appears to be well made, but it's more of a $10 item, which isn't exactly what they're asking for. This does not fit the ubiquitous universal buckets; they did so on purpose, which says a lot about the company.
