Questions & Answers

What is the number of deionization filters included in this kit?

Amazon cut one of the filter bags out of the deal and then sells it at a much higher price. Unger states they come with two filter bags. You can get it from Costco, with two bags, for $160 if you have a membership there. There is, however, a promotion during March that lets you get it for just You get two filter bags for what you would normally pay for 30 bucks more here!

Who knows what kind of soap you should use?

As well as being spot and streak resistant, the automotive soap I use is also moisturizing. The Unger is considered to be very effective when combined with it.

Is it possible to use it only for the final rinse instead of the pre-rinse in order to prolong its life span What should I do after I have rinsed and soaped?

It would be no problem at all!

The Secret to Amazing Results is to Read the Instructions and Use the I have now completed my first two washes with the Unger Rinse 'n' Go and I am impressed with the results so far
3/5

I was pleasantly surprised by the unit. Be sure to read the directions to find out what you have to do in order to make it work. Whenever I clean a large truck, my struggle is to keep the wettest part of the truck wet at all times, so spots won't form. Then, when I do stop washing, I have to rush to get all the glass on the sunroof and windows cleaned In spite of using a "spot free" car wash mix already, I still have to deal with I used the Unger to clean the truck today, and when I tried to wipe down the back window, the entire surface had dried entirely before I could get up into the truck to wipe it down. To my pleasant surprise, the window was not water stained. When you wipe the sunroof down, it usually leaves some streaks and a couple of spots, but the glass was also spotless and clean. As a result, my wash time was reduced, and I used less water, since I did not try to keep the towels wet until the truck was dry. Taking the standing water off was simple, and no water spots were left behind. Likewise, wiping off the windshield and glass was a breeze. As a result, all the glasses are now spotless, which reminds me I also need to wash the inside of the windows. Here are some things you should know and tips for this unit
Make sure you use a NEW hose! You will lose the benefit of this equipment if you attach it to an ancient hose filled with mineral deposits. I'm using a relatively new flex hose (also bought from Those stretchy flex hoses shrink back down when they get wet, so they can be used to purge water. Several ways can be used to extend the life of the filter, including lowering the pressure. As a result of the dionizing process, the materials in the filter are consumed. Low-pressure water should be used and as little water as possible should be used. Running your hose at full strength all the time will not only waste water, but you will also not have as long of a life from your filters. Brushes and tools should be rinsed in this water before being stored. In addition to washing the truck, I rinsed brushes and other goods with water from the Unger to ensure they were clean before I dried them. I think that the spray nozzle that is a part of the soap dispenser is an interesting idea, but I didn't It was just counterproductive to my washing goal to have overspray and mist. It was a lot easier to control the flow of water with the regular hose adapter since I could conserve water (and the life of the filter significantly). My only suggestion is to strengthen the blue lock lever used to lock the top. Upon receiving the first one, it had been damaged in shipping. Although the new one seems fine, I am worried that with years of use it will gradually weaken the little blue lever that is part of it. The only thing that could make this thing better would be to double the diameter of the plastic. Taking into account all the time saved and all the effort eliminated cleaning glass, even if I only get 12 the capacity they predict, it's still worth it despite my only being able to do 12 percent of what they predicted.

There is some dust here and there
3/5

Using this system, I was able to perform two washes. My first wash used my own hose since the provided hose did not reach the end of the tub. In addition to prewashing, washing and rinsing my vehicle, I also used the system to soap and rinse the A TDS meter in the package provided a reading between zero and one thousand times when I checked the water quality A 12ppm frequency. I had been told that there would not be spots on those levels. The car got spots after I let it dry by air. As I did some further research, I found that my own hose might have been causing the resin filter to flow faster than 2 gallons per minute when it was connected to my own source of water. It may be that the resin cannot filter out all particles when it is circulating at this rate. Using the system for the rinse only, I then performed another wash using it as intended. In the end, around 90% of the spots had disappeared, but they still weren't totally spotless. In my case, I have a black vehicle, so it is totally possible that other colors may not be visible in my vehicle.

The leaks spread all over, but it works well
5/5

In my experience, this unit has worked very well for me in giving me an accurate measurement of my spot I get a free wash for my car. This softener system added a lot of value to my water since I have extremely hard water, and even after adding a softener system, it didn't eliminate all of the solids in the water. Using quick-notes, I could keep track of my progress The hose on my bike has a hose connector system that allows me to easily switch it out when needed. However, I've had a plethora of problems with it leaking, both through the hose connections and out the top, despite being sure I'm tightening everything up. As a result, I've had to just live with it and make sure it sits outside my garage so that it doesn't leak inside. Nevertheless, it does seem to be effective so far on a specific spot We are giving away free rinses!.

I am very satisfied with it! This item really does work! I am skeptical of claims made by products, but this one is indeed worth its price tag! The results are spotless, so I don't have to worry about drying my car with a towel

The procedure was also able to accomplish the exact look that I was going for without damaging In the past, I would have leaned over my hood and stretched as much as I could to get the roof done, but Rinse N Go did not do that. As well as saving me time and effort, I also saved a considerable amount of The system is nicely priced compared to similar items and has saved me a lot of money. I'm going to wash my car. As a final thought, the TDS meter isn't just a cute little gadget.

This is a great time saver
5/5

I've found that the Rinse N Go system is a great time saver. As soon as I wash my car, I need to towel dry it to prevent a spot from forming- A finished surface covered in a coating. Getting the car dry before spots form can take hours. You're always racing against the clock to get the car dry before you run into problems. My car was soapy when I used Rinse N Go. I sprayed water from the system on it and let it air-dry. I left my car in the driveway to dry. That's all there is to I did not rush to get it dry, and as I lean across the roof and hood I did not exercise my upper body. This is perfect for me!.
