I purchased this for a sewing project, and it is exactly what I needed. I just wanted to clarify that, as the description states, we're talking about 3/8" ribbons, so yes, it's a small size. Bright colors, just missing a red.
The ribbon is fine, but I'm annoyed because I was expecting a spool of ribbon. However, this is not the case. Because it's flat, it's less useful for my needs. This is the second time I've used Amazon to purchase ribbon. The second time, it arrives in a package that is not the same as the one shown or described. This time, I went with a different seller, but it didn't work out. It's still not in the shape I'd like it to be.
Ribbon is a good deal. It did not, however, arrive on the spools as shown. Spools would be ideal because they are much easier to store. Instead, wire twist ties were used to wrap the ribbons individually. I wouldn't buy it again because I don't think I'll be able to store it properly.

20/yd. I believe that is a fantastic price for 3/4" satin ribbon, which may even be double-sided. faced! Going to the store and dealing with cluttered ribbon displays and having a specific amount cut at the counter is a lot less work. I won't need 50 yards of ribbon for this project, but it might come in handy somewhere else (Christmas?). What are your plans for Mother's Day?.
The colors shown in the official product image are representative of what I received, though they do not match exactly. These do not come on spools as pictured (they are sort of wound into flat segments maybe 6" wide but without anything in the central core), but the colors shown in the official product image are representative of what I received. These will be used to make loom-related ribbon ends. I'm making woven bracelets (to use ribbon end crimps on), so the colors don't matter to me as long as I can find *something* that matches the beads I'm using. I was able to do so because the colors were varied enough. They're a little wide for my purposes (I probably should've gone with 1/4 inch, but live and learn), but I've had no trouble cutting them down to size, and E6000 glues them nicely to the selvages I weave at the end of my loomed pieces (give it a day to dry), and my ribbon end crimps hold them in place nicely. br>br>As advertised, these are 3/8" wide. I didn't measure the entire length because I didn't want to have to re-measure everything). I wound the ribbon) but saw no knots, disconnections, or joins, so you should get a full, long piece of ribbon if that's what you wanted. I didn't get this wet, so I'm not sure what would happen if you did. There was no plastic/chemical odor, and the dye didn't rub off on my fingers. Mine did lay flat, though some ironing or steaming at the ends of the flat segments they are wound into might be helpful if you want to see the entire ribbon show. This didn't matter to me because I was cutting/folding the ribbon and concealing it with a crimp. br>br>The ribbon has a nice appearance; the surfaces are smooth and even, and the ends don't fray easily (though if the ribbons are going to be used in a project that will see a lot of wear and tear, you should finish the ends in some way). br>br>I believe your satisfaction (or lack thereof) with these will be influenced by the purpose for which they are being used. I'm generally satisfied with them because I'm using very short segments that are supposed to be hidden in my work (I'm still working on technique, so they aren't always hidden in practice). Because I only use three, I doubt I'll need to order again for a long time. At the same time, I gained 4 inches.
This is something I've bought a few times. These are wonderful traditional Hawaiian leis that I make. The texture is silky smooth, and the colors are vibrant. 5 yards of ribbon are included on each spool. I strongly advise you to do so.
Only four of the colors depicted in the picture were actually present in the bag. Browns and army green, which I don't usually use, were among the other colors. The ribbons were also scrunched up and tied in knots in a small bag. They will need to be ironed before being used as gifts. The colors were disappointing, and it arrived wrinkled. The ribbons themselves are of good quality, but you'll have to be lucky to get the colors you want.
