It does not appear to be as strong as double fold bias tape.
By the end of February, it should be available again.
The cording inside the item I received is about a quarter inch thick. It has a cotton-like feel to it.

mats. There were a few issues with it that I had to deal with:
1. The color "Red" is an orange-red. red, but not the bright red of the holidays.
2. The binding material's rope cord isn't a true white cotton rope like you'd find in Wrights Piping.
3. When the rope cord was washed, it shrank, causing major puckering and a lack of cord in comparison to the binding material. In some areas of my place, the piping became flat as a result of this. mat edge. To fix the edges of my place, I had to do some cutting and splicing. mats to give them a true corded edge. I'm not sure what will happen if I wash it again.
4. The rope cord is a dark color rather than white. Because it's dark, it shows through the binding, giving it a reddish hue. The orange material has become even more of an "off color. "
5. Some of the red coloring from the binding material washed away when it was washed. In the water, there isn't much, but it is noticeable. br>You get what you pay for, even if the yardage is cheap. Do not use this if you're making something that will last a long time and be washed. Wrights should be compensated. This is excellent for low-cost crafts, but not for sewing.
Normally, I make my own piping, but this saved me time! It's well-made and simple to put together. I wish the seam allowance had been a little wider, but it worked out.
It worked out great for a kids jammie shirt, with the exception that it is a little stiff. The piping kept lifting the collar up, so I had to tack it down. I'm hoping it gets softer in the washing machine.
Overall, the bias tape piping is functional and meets my requirements. The fabric color, however, changed about halfway through the spool. Sure, it's still gray, but with parts dark gray and parts light gray, it'd be impossible to use it all for the same project. Thankfully, I had enough to make the four pillows I needed, but if I were piping something larger, like couch cushions, I'd be furious. br>I'm not sure how to avoid it if you buy it, but be aware that the quality control on this product may be lacking.
I was able to save time and money by not having to make my own cushion piping for 27 yards. The sheath was made of a non-absorbent material. stretch, non-stretch ravel; Cotton or another soft fiber is used for the cording. It is simple to use. It's only a half-inch wide from edge to edge, which is my only criticism. It would be better if the seam tape was half an inch wide from the cording's inner edge to the seam tape's outer edge. A seam allowance of more than a quarter inch is required for some fabrics. I was able to work around it, but it would be nice if this product had a wider range of applications.
I am overjoyed!.
Very quick delivery, and the quality is far superior to that of a store purchase!.
